Man, as much credit as we need to give Mahito and Yuji's VA's, and absolutely they deserve it, Miwa's cries were so genuinely heart-wrenching.

Mahito's speech when he's beating the living shit out of Yuji is brilliant, imo.
It shows how, even with his cynicism, he somewhat believes in the disaster curses's philosophy. He doesn't display much sadness over their deaths, and prefers to fight to satisfy his instincts, but at the end of the day, he believes, and that's make wonders to make him even MORE scary.
Hey you should read the two light novels for jujutsu kaisen they probably won’t get animated but they have some amazing short stories from the characters and one of them is about mahito and where he got his knowledge of philosophy from

Morally speaking - Fake Geto is the worst since Mahito is a curse (being evil for them is natural) and Sukuna has some honor while F-Geto has nothing above.
The blonde guy who was with Todo is another Kyoto student (first-year) who didn't participate in the first season's exchange event. He also happens to be the brother of the assistant lady who was with Nobara and Maki (and who was stabbed multiple times by the asshole with hand-sword)
People often forget that Mahito cannot be damage from just punching him, you need to "reach" his Soul to truly damage him
That is what made him so scared of Sukuna, he instantly saw Mahitos soul and slashed at it
That black flash shook me when I first saw it. It never occurred to me that curses could do that too.
It's great to see Flexie not having a crisis after an episode. Todo's out there doing god's work, putting hope back into people's hearts

fun fact! Gege (the author of the manga) said that nanami wasn't supposed to die, but just lose an arm but he got "carried away" while making that chapter!
In the recent interview with gege he mentioned that he was planning to get rid of nanami by shibuya arc

nah there is a recent interview that came out that reveals he actually planned to kill Nanami and Kugisaki in Shibuya arc. At this point I think he is just saying anything 😂

Don't apologize for liking any character. My faves are usually those like Mahito - childish sadistic trolls doing horrible stuff just for fun (Joker, Izaya, Junko, Envy etc).
I love how mahito at the beginning of the fight on ep18 was telling yuji, “use your indoor voice” but now he’s saying, “speak up, I can’t hear you”. Like damn, pick a lane.
His lane is whatever would get under yujis skin the most and he’s locked into it

This is why I think JJK is the best shounen of recent times. It's a massive shame that all these characters died prematurely, there's a lot of things left in store that could be explored with these characters, but as a shounen battle series ? Holy crap this nailed the stakes in a battle so frickin well. Except the Main character, NONE of these characters are safe.

Really gotta say the Shibuya Arc is one of the most amazing Anime Arcs, the many different emotions it lets you feel, the awesome fights, theres just sooo much going on xD
Todo's Entrance was peak, and his bars were straight fire!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Todo's appearance always ressurects the viewer's souls
Todo’s attack is very dissorientating for the reciever.
One moment ur in full flight ready for murder, the next moment ur somewhere else, needing to completely and immediately change ur bearing and momentum. And thats assuming ur not immediately getting a smackdown by Todo.
That fight scene between those three - todo, yuji, mahito - with todo happily clapping away…. It was hard enough for us as the audience to keep up, imagine how hard it was for the combatants… imagine how hard it was for the animators to plan the storyboarding for that fight😅
They did this fight SO GOOD. I already loved it in the manga, todo is so fun to watch.

Just my opinion but i think the reason JJK does so well is because Akutami Sensei doesn't give the audience what they want and that's why i love JJK👍
My poor Miwa 🥲 her heart is so precious ❤ hearing her cry broke me, she really loved mechamaru.
i love it when they start playing the ending song before the episode ends. it makes the last minute of the remaining scene feel more exciting.
also, mahito is easy to hate because he acts like a gamer that gets excited over his auto-aim hacks with one-hit-ko attacks and then trash talks.

What I think Gege does best is you feel the dread, but they don’t just leave you there all high and dry, there’s always something hopeful to list you up. You can’t feel happy without a bit of sadness
Also one of my biggest pet peeves with this otherwise perfect adaptation, is the lack of the narrator, the line about the black sparks not choosing who they pick is so good, it sucks it got cut
This episode made me cry. Yuji questioning his resolve after countless losses hit so personally for me that I just feel something there. But let me tell you literally until the finale it only gets better. Please PLEASE upload the rest I need to see
This opening is for the villains, just from seeing the visuals and the lyrics. The villains catching too many W's but it's a nice twist rather than the good guys always getting all the wins and the villains being no issue.

Mahito would murder the hell out of the Kyoto team. They are absolute fodder. Only Mechamaru and Todo are strong enough to survive a tough fight like that, and are valuable members in terms of actual strength.

After the heartbreak of the last two episodes this episode was a much needed hopeful turn :,D. Mahito's line at the end saying they'll curse each other for the last time made me yell about how I sure hope this is the last time bc of all the trauma he has subjected us too

I mean logically there is no reason to hate him. He is a curse, not human. So being angry on him for crushing people lives it's like being angry on fire, storm or any other natural disaster for doing same stuff.
The thrills everytime Mahito is screaming, such an interpretation of the character by the voice actor : maybe the best I've ever seen

mahito cant domain expansion specifically on yuji due to him being sukunas vessel and the domains sure hit soul effect, it targets sukuna and as seen in earlier times sukuna will kill mahito if he uses domain on him back when nanami and yuji first encounter him
