He doesn't display much sadness over their deaths, and prefers to fight to satisfy his instincts, but at the end of the day, he believes, and that's make wonders to make him even MORE scary.

This is why I think JJK is the best shounen of recent times. It's a massive shame that all these characters died prematurely, there's a lot of things left in store that could be explored with these characters, but as a shounen battle series ? Holy crap this nailed the stakes in a battle so frickin well. Except the Main character, NONE of these characters are safe.
Todo’s attack is very dissorientating for the reciever. One moment ur in full flight ready for murder, the next moment ur somewhere else, needing to completely and immediately change ur bearing and momentum. And thats assuming ur not immediately getting a smackdown by Todo. That fight scene between those three - todo, yuji, mahito - with todo happily clapping away…. It was hard enough for us as the audience to keep up, imagine how hard it was for the combatants… imagine how hard it was for the animators to plan the storyboarding for that fight😅
This episode made me cry. Yuji questioning his resolve after countless losses hit so personally for me that I just feel something there. But let me tell you literally until the finale it only gets better. Please PLEASE upload the rest I need to see
This opening is for the villains, just from seeing the visuals and the lyrics. The villains catching too many W's but it's a nice twist rather than the good guys always getting all the wins and the villains being no issue.
What I think Gege does best is you feel the dread, but they don’t just leave you there all high and dry, there’s always something hopeful to list you up. You can’t feel happy without a bit of sadness Also one of my biggest pet peeves with this otherwise perfect adaptation, is the lack of the narrator, the line about the black sparks not choosing who they pick is so good, it sucks it got cut
i love it when they start playing the ending song before the episode ends. it makes the last minute of the remaining scene feel more exciting. also, mahito is easy to hate because he acts like a gamer that gets excited over his auto-aim hacks with one-hit-ko attacks and then trash talks.

The series of images that flash by prior the Black Flash are all gold. Some standouts include a pov of Takada pointing a gun at his head, and the Kyoto class except Momo has been replaced by Yuji.
The VAs absolutely kill it in this series no doubt. Not sure if I've ever hated a villain more than Mahito, none come to mind. He's just so cruel to Yuji and I love Yuji
