    Great job as always! I like the no nonsense approach to making videos about woodworking, not video making.

      Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. I have discovered that their are 2 types. Those who put on a show talking about getting it done, and those who just go get it done.
      I try to just go get it done.

    Nice to see your process. Really like the drafting of plans from the roll of paper to start.
    For the boxes, is there a specific reason you like 45 miters vs. something like the “quarter quarter quarter” method? I’m after some quick stacking boxes for lining 20+ drawers. So just curious!

      I'll have to look at what I did, I don't think I did 45s, as those aren't very strong. I think all my journey in this project are half laps

    I'm curious about the sacrificial board you have on your miter gauge. It looks like you're using an Incra gauge, right? Are the holes evenly spaced for any particular reason?

    • @Benham_Design
      @Benham_Design  3 года назад +1

      Yes, as the sacrificial, board gets sacrificed, I can move it down and have a fresh surface, to keep a 0 clearance.

      @@Benham_Design right, I use a sacrificial board on my Incra gauge too, I was just unsure about the spacing of those holes. I'm guessing it let's you keep a consistent measurement from a point on the gauge?

      The holes are for the attachment bolts to go through. So I drilled a series of them. As I use the jig and the end gets cut up. I can slide the board down and re bolt it, without having to stop and drill a new hole. Once the board gets too short. I make a new one

      If you don't want to build one yourself, that could be a good way to go about it.
