I found a gold lode reef in Norther California, but it's on a timber company's property, but I'm going to camp nearby and detect it this summer.

@Steven Wyatt….I wanna go with you😄 Sounds like a lot of fun. If I only had some experience, equipment and travel money we could double team the area and get all the gold out of there twice as fast😊 I’ve been an autobody man for s little over 30yrs, hard work. But I would love to do something different with my time here that I have left before I get too old lol😄👍

@@davidsnyder2000 I hear you! I'm focusing on treasure hunting adventures for my remaining years!
I spent years studying where the 1840's through the 1930's gold discoveries were located and backtracked the golds travel.
The quartz laced with gold and platinum is a pure white with bands of blue quartz loaded with gold. The area produced different size nuggets in different creeks, proggressivly increasing in size at each creek.
The largest gold nugget from that area found in the 1800's, weighed
178 lbs! There's photos and records of it at the local museum.
State Geologists say 90% of the Gold is still out there. The gold recovered in the gold rush days, pales in comparison to the 2500% more gold being found today by recreational weekend gold hunters.
I'm going for the source of all those nuggets everyone picks out of the creeks.
      Live your dreams!
Life is only a few days...

they deserve to go broke - using a metal detector is for punters - they need to use the big machines and that is massive overhead and more things to go wrong which is much more likely to happen than things going right so no wonder it is a risky business
