Thank you sooooo much for such wise counsel….I will listen again and again. Blessings to all of the members of the panel as God leads you in helping and encouraging your audience. To God be the Glory!❤
Richly packaged lesson.I will attend to it once daily as usual. On the Sabbath,my role is to share my experience with the Sabbath school family. What a wonderful lesson.
Thanks..Falling in love with Jesus brings blessings, miracles and receiving God's best is following the best example which is Christ's character that is perfect....the bible says wait on the Lord and he will supply your physical & mentally needs and the desires of your heart....if we trust him with our whole heart. It is worth the wait.
This was really good study. From Sabbath to Thursday. As if you all didn’t have enough duties eating up your time, it would be great to have a panel discussion about Friday’s questions, because there is SO MUCH MEAT on this particular lesson study! (& I know there will be in the coming weeks). Fascinating, enlightening, encouraging, informative and sober! Thank you all for sharing your experiences with us (Sister Shelley & Pastor John L), you may have no idea how many people you have touched with your testimonies. May God bless you all.
Thank you team for your excellent teachings may God continue to bless and use you in this ministry. To all husbands and wives allow God to be part of you union. I am from Cape Town
Amen HALLELUJAH. Thank You Sister Shelley For Being There As The Only Woman, With These Pastors Doing A Fantastic Job Explaining God's Words. What A Inspiring Lesson I Prayed That Every Couple Around The World Could Have Been Listening. May God Continue To Continue To bless And Keep Each And Everyone Of You Safe. Happy Sabbath. 🥰😁
Amen. Do not accept abuse in any form. The adulterous husbands will most probably continue down that path if they refuse to stop. Refusing to submit to the yielding of the Holy Spirit. Pray and separate yourself if that is the way that God leads you. Do not be fearful of what others may think or say. Marriage is awesome but Christ must be the head. At whatever age do not neglect God’s command of not being unequally yoked with an unbeliever. Do not run ahead of God. Going to the same church doesn’t mean that anyone is a believer. By their fruits you shall know them !!! When someone proposes it is suggested that you inquire of the motive for the proposal. Don’t be flattered. Flattery is like perfume, it lasts only for a short time. Great study and marvelous insights. Thanks panel. To God be the glory. Blessings. 🙏
Amen, Shelly! Abuse can be verbal also! Constant demeaning and trying to make your spouse feel worthless is Leo very abusive! Also, God gave women (and men) an out when He said we could leave because of an adulterous spouse!I stayed with my abusive husband husband and it hurt not only me, but my children! God finally said enough and He separated us!
Same thing happened to me and I became a single mother after 23 years together. God bless me and children and life became beautiful using us by God for His glory
My son got married when I was in the hospital sick. After marriage my in law met me in the car from the hospital, she greeted me through the window As there was a burial the next day ,after the burial they passed by to come and live the car they were using. From that day up to today she have never visited me , when I call her she does not pick her phone ,my son who was visiting and supportive ,calling has also stopped even his biological kids I am staying with he has stopped supporting them this is the Seventh year. My son has shifted from his place he staying with his mother in law God is the answers
It a beautiful picture of unity ,,at the foot of the cross,,but about those Christian Families who are partially separated ..mine is so ,,pray for me Brothers and Sisters we come together , and there is so many of the type.
What a blessing you are to this ministry! We know that many people will be able to trace their first connection with Jesus, their first knowledge of the truths in His Word to something they saw on 3ABN-and they will be able to do that partly through your support. Thank you for standing with us!
Verbal abuse is horrible too. Respect from both wife and husband is a necessity for a happy relationship. I agree with Shelley that if a situation can't be resolved then the husband should have the final decision, especially in big decisions.
Some think that because Jesus was not married there is no example but this topic & the discussion was perfect in explaining it 🎉. God bless you all . Thanks 😊 for this study
Can we just take a minute to appreciate the meme at 6:15 with the screech. 😂🙌🏾. Ive been laughing at it for the last 10 minute and had to restart the whole sermon as I forgot what it was about. Love this broadcast and the wholesome lessons it offers. 🙌🏾😄
Good morning Shelley. Thanks for leading out in this study ❤ I like your choice of presenters with Bible names: Daniel, James and 2 Johns. Very powerful study this week. Thank you.
I listened to Shelly this morning. I don’t know if anyone else caught it, but occasionally there’s a misquote from someone on the panel. Simple error. But Shelly was quoting scripture and misquoted as “Lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of self.” Lol. “Lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.”
I can't submit to a husband who doesn't want to except we become 1. We are adventist and have been for yrs. He is on the board of our church and I have told him he needs to step down. We do not have a marriage that is pleasing to God. I can't do it alone
“Submission is only warranted” IF, in your estimation, the husband is supposed to be acting in a way YOU view acceptable? No. This is the cause of so many failed marriages today. I’m speaking from experience. The husband can do his very best, and if the wife decides he isnt making her happy, she isn’t held to her order. She is wrong. Husbands should focus on their order given by God, as should wives. Wives are the primary ones breaking their marriage, because of thinking like this. The other verses you use to back your view are not directed at marriage. No one should be abused. Any person that is being abused should get away. That does not absolve anyone from Gods command. You all sound like apologetics, emphasizing the husbands duty. Speak on both sides AS God gave them to us. I’m obviously a man, I need to focus on MY order given to me by God. Women need to focus on THEIR order given to them by God. How beautiful marriage would be.
@@_SDC Love protects, Love respects. (Jesus (Love) protected Simeon, the Pharisee, read his thought but did not shame him. He only told a story and engaged him with questions concerning the two debtors😊 Both man and woman should look to Jesus and live. Jesus' submission to the Father and His humility and His marvellous and infinite grace constrain/motivate us. Everyday we learn better and where there's life, there is hope. 'When I was a child, I spoke like a child' but as I study and learn along the way, I grow in the full understanding of Christ. Hold a sister or brother's hand and run together to the finish line🎉 Let us help each other, coming together and reasoning together😊❤ (Isaiah 1:18 is encouraging us to reason together) and growing together. God used Nathan to bring David to repentance. If the Spirit of God is resting on us, we can have wisdom to help another person to walk in the Light of God
@@_SDCSister Shelly spoke directly from scripture and I believe she is correct. I had a good Christian marriage believing likewise for over 36 years until I became a widow.
@_SDC Whatever Shelly spoke is from the Bible. There's no way you can continue living with an unrepentant spouse but to separate in order for them to repent maybe when they are alone. It's not divorce but for them to repent of their bad ways.
I think she, Shelly, was coming for a perspective that this woman is spirit filled and has a spiritual discernment of a God-led husband not an academic one. If the Spirit-led woman see some waywardness in the husband - she has to resist and protest so. Your issue is thinking of a common nominal female soul judging from a self-centered paradigm of wants
I'm watching this at about 9:30 on a Friday night right after watching some funny videos. If I have to choose between watching a lady miss the water entirely because she didn't let go of the rope swing, and watching five talking heads I, for one, would prefer the one with a bit more action. Not to mention the fact that I'm 54 years old and sill single.
Mad. Shelley, thank you for the message but want to contribute to the quotation you gave, thus the "man" in all those three quotations could be either "man or woman" in that contest and description. Secondly, it's a two-way conversation that Paul is speaking on both the relationship between Christ and the church then in reality the man and the woman. Thank you. Kelly
Powerful Sister Shelly Quinn. ❤That was brilliant.
Thanks ❤
Another great lesson, thank you all. God bless you and your families.
