this whole ban wave BS has been happening for months, if i were you in that situation, call microsoft, tell them the gametag (if you remember it) and the accounts following it. they can probably be traced to someone and you could possibly get your console unbanned. this is one of the main reasons I went to playstation since the banning situation on xbox is unhabitable.

Just a heads up, we do not just ban people because of bot followers. It's not heavily enforced as stuff can happen and to get console banned you must have 3 strikes or depending on the offense. Best I can do is look into your account and see what it was for.

Nope. Although, if you bought a second Xbox Series X, it will have a different IP address when you connect to the same network. This is because your router assigns a different IP address to each device connected to it.

Only way consoles get banned is when A: you have a kit & you attempted to go online or B: running unauthorised apps like Emulators or Game Script with exploit & then updating your console as you decided not to want to use that exploit anymore or C: Using exploits online or illegal activity (like DDOS / Dox). Don’t get me wrong xbox sucks but console bans don’t happen for no reason, especially not because of your account having botted followers. Whatever you did you’d get an email for it on the account that got banned.
