Awesome video, this is the first time seeing Air France's A380 video, very impressive
Thank you my friend! I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
That a380 is gorgeous!! I remember the first time I saw one, I was in Boston getting ready to head out west. Walking to my gate, I saw one parked and was like ooh!!!
It really was a pleasure to fly on. It's sad that it will probably go down as a commercial flop even though it is such a nice plane to fly on. If it weren't for Emirates it would've been dead in the water a long time ago. Thanks for watching my friend!
I'm done these videos are good ty for psting
No jk
Lucky that you get to fly on the a380! I always wanted to ride a giant like that.
I'm sure you'll have the opportunity to someday my friend! Thanks for watching!
Superbe vidéo. Avez-vous le vol retour ?
Thanks my friend. On this flight I didn't have a return flight. At least not on an Air France A380. I flew on a Virgin Atlantic A340-600 to get to Europe for this trip.
A nice long flight indeed! Sunny Paris looks real nice! That take off was gorgeous.... it was also pretty need to see an image from the tail camera! Is the Airbus 380 the only bird with that feature? Just wish we could have seen more of the Atlantic, but the beautiful blankets of clouds made up for it!
And as always it's very cool to see the jet blast instantly fog up in the higher altitudes!!
It's a shame though that it just had to rain at JFK and obstruct your view! Still, a very cool fly from start to finish!
I have seen other aircraft with tail cameras before. Off the top of my head I can also remember seeing them on the A340-600 as well. I'm sure there are others that have them too. It does give you a really cool view. It was hard to watch out the window while we took off. I kept wanting to look at the tail camera! And don't worry my friend! My British Airways 747-400 flight from LHR-ORD is coming up very soon, and mother nature was much kinder to me on this flight. AMAZING views of the North Atlantic! And I mean absolutely AMAZING! Best views I've ever gotten on a flight. You can get a short sneak peek of those views in my newest channel preview here: ruclips.net/video/QcE5BkrkCxM/видео.html If you haven't already watch it. In particular at 4:07. I'll just say that those are not clouds you can see in that clip. That's ice.
Also, catching the contrails is always fun! I'm glad you caught that!
This is not the only time rain has bogged me down at the airport recently! Oh well! We can't always have perfect conditions right? I really enjoyed this flight. I can say that the A380 was by far the most conformable aircraft I have ever flown in. It's too bad the big four engine aircraft are a dying breed. Thanks for watching my friend, and definitely check out that preview if you haven't yet.
I really enjoy your videos... That takeoff seemed exceptionally graceful for an A380! Wow- all of this was with an iPhone 7... How do you edit? Do you have a MacBook or do you just edit on your iPhone? Also, how much space do these videos take up in your phone?
The entire flight was more graceful than I would have expected from such a huge plane. The A380 is by far the most comfortable plane I've ever flown on. I don't think I've ever been more content in economy then I was on this flight. And yes! Almost all of the footage you see on the Inflight Series on my channel is filmed with my iPhone. This was filmed with a 7, and I've now upgraded to a X (256 GB). It really is amazing how good the video quality is on phones now. To answer the second part of that, no. I do not edit any of my videos on my iPhone. I have a 15" MacBook Pro with 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB solid state hard drive that I do all of the editing on. I mainly use iMovie, but there are a couple other programs I use occasionally for my logo/end screens. Typically when I film I get about 10 minutes of footage per 1 GB. So this video was somewhere between 5-6 GB. When I travel I have my 15" MarBook Pro, and I also travel with a 1 TB rugged external hard drive. So, I travel with 2 TB of storage. Once I get home from a trip and I process all of the footage everything gets moved to my four other "home based" external hard drives. In total I have over 9 TB, or 9,000 GB of hard drive space.
Was it only me but the plane looked like it was going hella slow like it was taxiing
First like! Nice job! Question. What camera/equipment do you use?
Thanks my friend. I used several different cameras for everything I put on my channel. Here is the complete list:
Current Camera Equipment:
-iPhone 6
-iPhone X
-GoPro HERO6 Black
-Nikon D3400
When I took this flight I was actually using a iPhone 7 Plus. Now I mainly use the iPhone X for the Inflight Series. It really is amazing how good the video quality is on phones today.
Skylite Productions Thanks for the reply. I always look forward to your videos!
No problem man! I'm glad you enjoy the videos!
Hey ! I fly soon on the same opposite route and in the same seat (88A) how actually do you recommend that seat and how was your experience at that seat and route via the airbus a380 ? Would really happy to get an answer:)
Thank you
In addition I would like to know how it was comfortable and legroom space at that seat?
I was very pleased with this seat. This was probably one the most comfortable trans Atlantic flights I've ever been on as far as economy goes. Honestly the seat reminded me more of a premium economy seat than a regular economy one. The legroom was generous with the bulkhead right in front of you. I could get up and go to the restroom without the person next to me having to get up. It also had an extra storage compartment between the left armrest and the window which was great for keeping my water/computer. That little storage compartment freed up a lot of space around the seat. Honestly overall this was one of the most pleasant flights I've ever taken. I think you'll enjoy that seat very much. Thanks for watching my friend!
Thank you really much for the response man ! Will keep watching you new uploads;)
No problem my friend. I appreciate you taking the time to watch.
Just last small question 😅 there is a way that maybe you got pictures of the seat??
Sweet!!!!
Thanks man! I hope you enjoy it!
I actually flew into here in May of 2010
Very cool! As always, I appreciate you watching.
Lucky! I want to fly on an A380!
Thanks for watching my friend! I'm sure you'll get the opportunity to fly on one someday!
Did you get air sick, because sitting at the upper deck sometimes can lead to it.
I did not. I don't usually have any motion sickness issues though. I was traveling with a fiend on this flight and they didn't have any issues either.
I have never heard about sitting on the upper deck causing air sickness? What helps best is not focusing on a screen or reading a book/magazine. What causes motion sickness is the conflicting feedback the inner ear balance organ gets from the eyes. That is why focusing eyes on the horizon helps the balance organ from getting conflicting feedback.
When are going to do a face reveal?
I kind of did earlier this year, when I put my face right on a thumbnail. Based on the number of people still asking me to do one, not many people noticed haha.
