Thanks for the vid, definitely not a good day for it. Good ground and as you say seemed to have a 'new' feel to it although they must still be paying for it if your shelling out £10 for chicken and chips ! Slough, famous for Mars Bars and the Wheelie Bin. Anyway thanks for braving the weather and as the Slough fans said....2-1 on your big day out !
@@darrellwilliams213 Thank you very much! Congratulations on the result, you would’ve never known the sides played in different divisions (although I don’t know what that says more about) good luck in the next round! I did not know the Mars bar came from Slough fair play to you guys!

@ I’ve been sent me a link to the song All Things Slough which pretty much outlined all of these things. Genuinely has no idea we had so much to be thankful to Slough for
I literally can’t believe I said the wrong competition, I think it’s because on the train I was looking at what the different between the two tournaments was. Of course it was the FA Trophy!
4:39 Actually, the record attendance was the 1st round match vs Grimsby Town last season, 2,220-odd people turned up for the game
@@emopenguingames2895 Is that right? I got that from a ground hopping guide so it must’ve been out of date.

@@mattthegroundhopper9242 What a rick from me 🤦♂️ know one thing but say another not for the first time of course it’s the FA Trophy
Tom you need to educate yourself on what Slough is famous for apart from the office.
@ What else is there Ed? Please Educate me, felt like a pretty nondescript commuter town to me

The "FA Vase" - you don't even know which competition was being played!

Arbour Park may be a newish stadium but the entrance looks like a glorified leftover of a WW2 Nissen hut!
@@mariasummers-r9e Doesn’t it just! Very unique look to it. I wasn’t sure what it reminded me of but maybe it is WW2 huts!
