Great Interview Clark has always been the grand master of the trumpet worked with him twice and was a featured on my big band recording, and there will only be one Joe Williams
There is nothing like two musicians, much less Master musicians, interviewing one another because they have histories that intertwine and knowledge of the music they each and others played and they have the best stories and inside information. To think that they're Giants and at the same time just beautiful, simple, humble human beings. God bless them they really left their Mark and their mission on Earth was completed at the very highest levels. Excellent interview between friends that happened to be monster musicians. Thank you so much for posting.

I'm pleased you enjoyed it. Joe Williams helped us get our oral history program going in 1995. He and Clark could talk for hours about their lives and times! Monk
Clark Terry isn't just the grandmaster, there's nothing but joy and love in his playing...
Magical conversation with two giants. 99 stars. I had the great pleasure of meeting both of them in their later years. Both beautiful human beings.
