Fun fact: Ryan's retaliation in the birthday prank war this year was commissioning a full on song and dance number that tells the world how to pronounce Rob's last name 😂😂 It had to have cost him at least $100k to do.
You probably know already but games starting at 3pm on a Saturday cannot be broadcast live. Games at all other times, on all other days can be broadcast live. As they said, this was to preserve the attendance of the ticket buying audience in the stadium. Saturday 3pm is relevant because traditionally that’s when pretty much all games kicked off. Obviously this is no longer the case but the 3pm Saturday rule remains. (It’s expected to change)
On the politics thing, the UK government since 2010 has been Conservative/Tory. Wrexhams’ MP since 2019 has also been a Tory, but apart from that, since Wrexham first got its own MP in 1918 it has only _not_ had a Labour MP for less than 15 years and it’s almost certain that Labour will win the seat in the next election. The Welsh Government, however, is Labour, and Wrexhams’ MS (Member of the Senedd), Lesley Griffiths, is Minister for Rural Affairs and North Wales, and is also Trefnydd (House Leader) of the Senedd - and footballwise she was also a member of the board of the Wrexham Supporters Trust. In local politics, Wrexham Council is currently run by a coalition of Independents (non-party councillors) and Conservatives (2022 results: 23 Independents, 14 Labour, 9 Conservative, 9 Plaid Cymru, 1 Liberal Democrat). So you can see how the club would like to keep out of politics!
Also, due to the jumbled timeline, it's not clear but Mullins shoe issue was right when the decision on the Kop funding was about to be made, and there was quite a lot of concern that the kerfuffle had an effect on the outcome.
I thought this was a brilliantly structured (and very funny) episode that showcased Shaun Harvey's essential role at the club. If you recall from season 1, Shaun was a former CEO of Leeds United FC and was the chief executive of the EFL for a number of years.
Live games are broadcast in the UK on a Saturday generally at 12.30 and 5.30 live on satellite/ cable tv. No one can can watch football live on the 3 o'clock kick offs in the UK on a Saturday. Anywhere else in the world you can watch UK live football at a 3pm on a Saturdays. Hope this helps x
No mate that's our culture . We know the rules that's that. We love our game, apart from VAR ,which I hate with every fibre of my being. All the best to you, stay good!@@TouchyReactions
Just to clarify, only 3pm kick-offs on a Saturday afternoon that there’s a TV blackout. If TV companies want to show certain matches live, they would have to find alternative time to play the match.
More specifically it's a ban on broadcasting football between 2.45pm and 5.15pm on Saturday. This applies to any football, not just English league football (so no bundesliga, la Liga, champions league etc games can be shown between those hours either) but those games can be shown in other countries...so in the us you actually get more televised premier league games than we do

Wow, politics is messy. Thanks for the help.
Lol that's not complicated at all. Thank you for the explanation.
Also, due to the jumbled timeline, it's not clear but Mullins shoe issue was right when the decision on the Kop funding was about to be made, and there was quite a lot of concern that the kerfuffle had an effect on the outcome.
Also thanks for putting season/episode in a bold display on your thumbnails. It's easy to see at a glance. 👍
No problem!

Enjoying your reactions!!
Glad you like them! Thanks
Hey where’s the season 1 reactions?
We watched season 1 without recording reactions. We decided that it would make good content and started recording in season 2. Sorry.
Team Tyrion
Poor Shaun… and his holiday…
