It was an informative and wonderful historical coverage documentary about William conquerors ( sprime Normandie Duke) .. Thank you for an excellent ( Slice full Doc) channel for sharing
If it was not for Gilbert de Brionne and some other nobles William I would have not survived. As guardian to the young Duke he was safe from other family members. Gilbert was the son of Geoffrey Count of EU the illegitimate son of Richard I of Normandy. By 1066 de Brionne family came with William the conqueror to England. For helping him they got land and title becoming the de Clare family Anglo Norman's. They all coming from the bloodline of Rollo.
