Just made this for my mom for when she works her factory job since it gets cold in there. Thank you for the beautiful pattern and tutorial, what is this stitch called?

@guccicat263 Thank you very much. I'm not 100% sure about the stitch, I took it from a scarf that I made a long time ago. It looks like the bean stitch or something similar 😊

I love this -have tried to make it out 3 times now with the same problem Maybe you can tell me what I am doing wrong - when I connect the chain and then do the first row, it seems upside down at the connection, and then there is one twist and I cannot get the twist out of the headband....any suggestions?

@@crochetcabin6160 thank you for answering! I managed to finally get one made and it looks good...but there still was a weird twist at t he connection...who knows what I did wrong? :) Its for a gift and we are leaving soon, so after the Holidays perhaps I can get in touch with you and we can figure out my error!

Based on your description of the problem, it sounds like your starting chain was twisted at the point you slip stitched to the beginning chain.
A twisted chain would cause your stitches to appear upside down.
Hooked by Robin has a RUclips video titled "How To Stop Your Chain From Twisting" that you may find helpful.🧶🤗
