Got some live bait off some guys last night my first trip out on the pier to fish since moving here. Caught a 15 lb cat after catching a stingray about 3.5 ft wide and an hr long fight. Also caught a large blue crab . Crazy fishing that ray blew my mind
Right on Wyatt. That stingray must’ve fun to battle. Last ray I caught was in 1994 in Kodiak, Alaska and that thing was kicking my butt! Haha
I’m back home now in Washington state but my younger brother is still fishing at that pier. I’ll probably return next summer to VA for some more adventures in your area. Thanks for commenting! 🤙🏽
Those were some BIG CATFISH!
Yeah man that never feels good.
Where do you park?
I parked right outside of the entrance to the Pier in the small parking lot. That lot fills up quickly though so get there early to beat the crowd or when the Sun goes down and there’s less people at the beach.
@@NorthwestAdventurerNWA awesome, thank you for the info. Gonna give it a try. Seems like only cats bite there. No spot or perch
