  • This is done in love and is meant to help people who have been decieved by Joo-Cheol Kim. Joo-Cheol Kim is the leader and driving force behind the rising cult, the "World Mission Society Church of God". In this video I will tell you what Joo-Cheol Kim teaches and refute it biblically. We will analyze his teachings about Passover, Christmas, heresy and the cross as well as expose exactly how he twists the truth. I don't want to be uncharitable here but this guy is radically lying to people and leading them away from Jesus Christ and his lies need to be exposed.

By this itself you know everything related to this cult is a false doctrine and a false teaching. Don't believe me? Research yourself, you'll know the Truth. As a non Christian beware of what they say. I went into it being open minded and just wanting to learn about their doctrine and not to criticize it. This perspective did not alow me to see the cherry picking of verses that they always did and subsequently lead me to believe what they were saying. I never had an interest in refuting and never did till a few weeks ago. It's ok to learn but beware that they do make a very compelling narrative even for non Christians. For university students, if you want to find a Christian community at your school these people are not the way. They may be nice and fun people but they are their to recruit you and bring you into THEIR church and not to help you become a Christian. If you want friends, ask some people for help with an assignment in a class you lile and try to start a study group. If you want Christian friends most churches will have college student groups and would love to have you visit.

This is actually a very big church in Austin/San Antonio Texas and the surrounding areas. I was invited to do “Bible study” as well. I’ve been doing them for about a month until they introduced a “second coming christ” ahn sahng-hong and immediately it raised red flags for me. They gave no scripture other than the word “east” or the teaching of Passover to support this. The study ended with none of my questions answered and her wanting me to get baptized immediately, whenever I was free next. We are supposed to go over more our next Bible study in 2 days, but I won’t be returning. I feel sorry for the girl teaching me, for she’s just a young woman herself, probably a college age. I don’t want to completely shut her out, but I don’t know how to address my concerns about her church with her.

The Church of God interprets the Last Supper as the same day as the Passover and keeps it grand. However, according to the Bible, the Last Supper and the Passover are different days. The Last Supper was held on the day before the Passover, and this is recorded in detail in the Gospel of John. Yehoshua's actions were recorded in detail in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, and Matthew, Mark, and Luke recorded the Last Supper in just a few lines. However, John wrote in great detail in a vast amount of content. So, if you look closely at the Gospel of John, you will find that the Last Supper took place on the eve of the Passover. John wrote about the Last Supper:
[John 13:1~2] It was before Passover, and Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and to return to the Father. He had always loved his followers in this world, and he loved them to the very end. Even before the evening meal started, the devil had made Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, decide to betray Jesus.
In the Gospel of John, we can confirm that the Last Supper was held before the Passover. During the Last Supper, Judas had a few words with Yehoshua and left to sell Jehoshua, but the remaining disciples misunderstood that Judas was going to buy things for the feast.
[John 13:26~30] Jesus answered, "I will dip this piece of bread in the sauce and give it to the one I was talking about." Then Jesus dipped the bread and gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot. Right then Satan took control of Judas. Jesus said, "Judas, go quickly and do what you have to do." No one at the meal understood what Jesus meant. But because Judas was in charge of the money, some of them thought that Jesus had told him to buy something they needed for the festival. Others thought that Jesus had told him to give some money to the poor. Judas took the piece of bread and went out. It was already night.
What does it mean that Judas went out to buy things for the feast? If that day was the Passover, what kind of holiday did the disciples think? If the Last Supper is the Passover, does it make sense to go out to buy things for the holiday? Also, the Jews dragged Yehoshua all night long. And many Jews followed to see Yehoshua. Then, when Yehoshua was dragged into Pilate's palace, many Jews were reluctant to enter Pilate's official residence. What was the reason?
[John 18:28] Then they led Jesus from Caiaphas into the Praetorium, and it was early; and they themselves did not enter into the Praetorium so that they would not be defiled, but might eat the Passover.
Why do you think the Jews who followed Yehoshua were reluctant to enter Pilate's official residence? They wanted to eat the Passover food without defiling their bodies. If the day that Yehoshua was arrested was the Passover, would the Jews have thought like that? Governor Pilate also made the following meaningful remarks before issuing the death sentence:
[John 18:39~40] But you have a custom that I release someone for you at the Passover; do you wish then that I release for you the King of the Jews?" So they cried out again, saying, "Not this Man, but Barabbas." Now Barabbas was a robber.
Pilate wanted to release Yehoshua. So he tried to release Jesus by using the special pardon that he gives every year at the Passover. But the Jews wanted Barabbas the robber, not Yehoshua, and Yehoshua did not receive pardon at the Passover. In the end, Yehoshua died on the cross on the Passover, and John wrote about that day as follows.
[John 19:31~33] The next day would be both a Sabbath and the Passover. It was a special day for the Jewish people, and they did not want the bodies to stay on the crosses during that day. So they asked Pilate to break the men's legs and take their bodies down. The soldiers first broke the legs of the other two men who were nailed there. But when they came to Jesus, they saw that he was already dead, and they did not break his legs.
Yehoshua died on the cross at 3:00 PM on January 14, the Jewish calendar, when the Passover lamb was sacrificed. And that night the Jews celebrated the feast of the Passover, which coincided with the Sabbath. Yehoshua died at 3 pm on Friday, so the Passover that was celebrated that evening overlapped the Sabbath. In this way, John recorded the details from the Last Supper to his death in great detail. If you look closely, you can see that Yehoshua died on the 14th day of January in the Jewish calendar, that is, at 3 pm on the Passover, when the Passover lamb was sacrificed. In addition to this, if you look at the Gospel of Matthew, you can confirm that Yehoshua died on the Passover.
[Matthew 26:1~5] When Jesus had finished teaching, he told his disciples, "You know that two days from now will be Passover. That is when the Son of Man will be handed over to his enemies and nailed to a cross." At that time the chief priests and the nation's leaders were meeting at the home of Caiaphas the high priest. They planned how they could sneak around and have Jesus arrested and put to death. But they said, "We must not do it during Passover, because the people will riot."
Yehoshua knew that he would be crucified on the Passover. That is why He said, “It is the Passover in two days, and on that day the Son of Man will be crucified.” The elders also feared the commotion and conspired to kill Joshua before the Passover began. Therefore, Yehoshua died on the Passover. How, then, is the history book of the church recorded? Church history books also record that Yehoshua died on the Passover. Therefore, the Last Supper was celebrated on the eve of Passover.
In a book called Faith of the Fathers published by the Catholic Church, it was recorded that Yehoshua died on the Passover, and the Israeli Cultural Center also replied that Yehoshua died on the Passover.
Not only the records of the Bible, but also the history books of the church and the answers of the Israeli Cultural Center testify that Yehoshua died on the Passover. However, the Church of God insists that the Passover and the Last Supper are the same day. And every year, on the evening of the Passover on January 14 of the Jewish calendar, bread and wine are shared and celebrated like the Last Supper. They are brainwashing believers by claiming that if they do not eat and drink the Passover bread and wine, they will not have eternal life. However, this is a misinterpretation of the Bible. The Last Supper is a different day from the Passover, and eating and drinking of bread and wine does not give you eternal life.
The members of the Church of God are being deceived by their leaders, Gil-Ja Jang and Joo-Cheol Kim. You need to realize that you are being deceived and get out of there.

It's so crazy, I had an encounter with them too a few years ago and I'm just now finding these videos that explain all the things they actually believe. I had no clue what the group was at the time and at first it didn't raise red flags for me that they were a cult. I thought they were just a different denomination within Christianity. A girl approached me when I was out somewhere sitting at a table outside on a nice day. Actually I happened to be reading my Bible and literally prayed that if God wanted me to witness to someone, that they'd see me reading the Bible and come ask me a question about it. Not long after I prayed that this girl came up. She started talking to me about end times and how Revelation predicted World War 2 and that there would be another great war. At first I thought she was maybe from a church that put over-epmhasis on end times. She asked me if I wanted to meet for a Bible study, and though I was a little skeptical, I said yes. I thought "Sure, why not have a Bible study with a fellow Christian and make a new friend?" It was during this Bible study that I started realizing their beliefs were very off. They told me that we all lived in Heaven before coming to earth, and that Adam and Eve's sin actually happened in Heaven. After that God casted us down to earth and wiped our memories. I immediately thought it sounded like Mormonism. I was so confused on who this group was. They said a lot of stuff about passover and that any church who doesn't observe it correctly are not true Christians. Thankfully I had verses prepared because the girl talked to me about passover at our first meeting, and I thought what she was saying was unbiblical, so I got some verses ahead of time that I was able to explain to them. They also told me you needed baptism for salvation. I will also mention she brought another, older girl for the Bible study, so I was debating with both of them. We ended up meeting a third time, me and the same two people. During that meeting all the Sabbath stuff was brought up and how if you go to church on Sunday you're worshipping the devil. At one point one of the girls said she had to leave early. And then a completely different girl randomly came up and sat down with us and was like "Hey, watchya guys talking about?" She explained that she was a part of their church and worked nearby, so she just happened to run into us. Which I don't believe, I think it was planned. So they were being deceitful right off the bat. So then I had a conversation with that girl too. I think at that point they realized I was not being convinced by them and was actually trying to convince them that their beliefs were unbiblical. So they stopped contacting me after that. I did text the girl I first met and invited her to come to my Christian group on campus. She said no, but I think God put her in my path for a reason, and I planted seeds of truth. They were all very sweet girls who seemed to genuinely believe the things they were saying. I pray they would come to the true knowledge of Christ. I have been hearing more and more about this group lately and multiple people I know having encounters with them. My sister also encountered these same girls I talked to who pretended to bump into her at Walmart. My Christian friends were saying it's actually called God the Mother and it was started in Korea. I was confused because they didn't say any of that stuff to me. Turns out they just didn't reveal that up front. If any group is being secretive about their beliefs and keeping in the dark until they decide to reveal it, that's definitely a red flag.

I was approached by two ladies at my university back in 2016 (my freshman year). I still identified as a Roman Catholic back then but I had no knowledge of Scripture whatsoever. They made me read Revelation 21:2 out loud and gave me points/arguments on why God is a mother instead of a father. They mentioned something about the bride and how New Jerusalem will float down from heaven. After they made me read a couple verses from their Bibles and contorting it into making God a female, they asked for my information and if I would be willing to join a Bible study with them. I think I gave them a fake number because they seemed very pushy (which I thought was more offensive than twisting God's Word at the time). Now I'm a Christ-follower who is reading and trying to understand Biblical context and I *now* know that they completely butchered and misinterpreted everything they presented to me.
Multiple friends of mine were also approached during that semester, but I was the only one who remembered what they actually argued in the Bible as being support for their so-called "doctrine."
Thank you for humbly, lovingly, and courageously defending God's Word!

She approched me as well. I was joining the group for several month. I thought it was a normal bible group and I trusted my friend because I knew her for quite some time.
I asked the people what kind of Church they are and they always said to me: Be patient you will soon find out. We are just normal people like the apostels were. And my friend also convinced me that they are all normal and love the bibel and just are teaching from the bible and nothing else.
But the method how they are approching people is the same as the World Mission Society Church of God".
After months went in (they also have a bible study group which you have to attend) they told me that Lee Man Hee was the new john the baptist/Jesus and you will only get truly saved if you believe in everything he says like everyone had to believe Jesus to be saved.
From this day on I and two other girls from the bibel group left the korean group.
But sadly my friend doesn´t believe me that she under a false teaching and was crying, because in her mind I will go to hell.
She still is in the group and I don´t know how to approach her.
This group is now spreading all over the world and they have many followers.
But I started to pray for her and her sister!
I haven´t watched the video The False Teachings and Lies of Joo-Cheol Kim (Pastor of the Church of God) yet but i will.
I just had to write this!
So if anyone of you lives in Germany or anywhere else and you are getting asked to join a bibel study group.
    PLEASE do not join them!
I took me weeks (with the help of my pastor and friends) to get my head in right biblical order!
BUT I also have to say the through this experience I have seeking the Lord more than ever before in my life (although a grew up as a christian),
because I had to find out for myself why I believe in Jesus.

Hey Mike! I have a question that I hope you can help me with. The other day my boyfriend and I were tricked into going to a “bible study” by a coworker of mine and it ended up being exactly what you’ve been talking about in your videos. We were taken into a separate room to do a “bible study” and they tried convincing us about their Christ Ahnsahnghong and the rest of their beliefs. My boyfriend and I are Christians and we study the word of God and knew everything they were saying was rooted in complete blasphemy. We were having a back and forth with them on their beliefs and how it doesn’t add up to the scripture they were trying to give us as evidence and at one point I had said, “okay, if "Christ AhnSahnHong” is really the second coming of Jesus Christ then explain to me how? What prophecies did he fulfill? what exactly has he done to make you guys believe that he is the son of God?” They said “Are you familiar with the parable of the Fig Tree?” and I said “yes.” then they said “ well because you don’t believe in what we’re saying when it comes to the sabbath and Christmas and everything else we cannot teach you what you’re asking because you don’t believe.” So obvi I know this is just crazy but I was wondering if you could help me figure out what they would’ve tried to use as a defense with the parable of the fig tree? Thanks for the help and your knowledge and for speaking truth?

I think their following response WAS their explanation of the parable. Assuming they mean the time that Jesus wilted the tree, they may have been saying that since you aren’t “bearing fruit” of accepting their beliefs, then they’ll just leave you to “wither,” as if you’re totally missing out! It just sounds like a veiled insult: “You’re too ignorant so you’re like the fig tree Jesus cursed.” At least, that’s how I’m reading it.

Hey Friend and sister in Christ 🙏🏼☺️
      Check this out :
You’ve probably heard the expression “face the music.” But you might not know that it is believed to have originated in Japan. According to the story, the imperial orchestra once humored a man who couldn’t play a note. Because of his wealth and great influence, the man demanded that a seat be given to him in the group because he wanted to “perform” before the emperor. The conductor agreed to let him sit in the second row of the orchestra and hold a flute, even though the man couldn’t read a dot of music. As a concert would begin, he’d simply raise his instrument, pucker his lips, and move his fingers. He went through all the motions of playing, but never made a sound. This deception continued for two years.
However, a new conductor took over when the old one parted ways. He told the orchestra members that he wanted to audition each player personally. One by one, they performed in his presence. Then came the phony flutist’s turn. He was frantic with worry, so he pretended to be sick. However, a doctor ordered to examine him declared that he was perfectly well. The new conductor insisted that the man appear and demonstrate his skill. Shamefacedly, the phony had to confess that he was a fake. He wanted the prestige of being part of the orchestra, but since he never took the time to learn his instrument, he was unable to “face the music.”
The word “hypocrite” comes from the Greek word hupokrites. It is defined as “the practice of professing beliefs, feelings, or virtues that one does not hold or possess” or “an actor under an assumed character.”
Someone said, “The number one cause of atheism is Christians. Those who proclaim God with their mouths and deny Him with their lifestyles are what an unbelieving world finds simply unbelievable.”1 And Oswald Chambers said, “The world is glad of an excuse not to listen to the gospel message, and the inconsistencies of Christians is the excuse.”

      Manmade Cover-up
The Lord hates hypocrisy. Jesus made this painfully clear in His sermon on the mount. He told the people, “Take heed that ye do not your alms [charitable deeds] before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men” (Matthew 6:1, 2, emphasis added).
He continued, “And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. ... Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast” (vs. 5, 16, emphasis added).
The Pharisees were experts in the art of faking true religion. They fasted, prayed, and gave to be “seen of men.”
Now I said that the Lord hates hypocrisy, and it’s true. But thank God that He loves the hypocrites, or we would all be in trouble! Arthur R. Adams said, “Don’t stay away from church because there are so many hypocrites. There’s always room for one more.”
The famous actor Robert Redford was walking through a hotel lobby one day, and a fan followed him to the elevator. “Are you the real Robert Redford?” she asked with great excitement. As the doors of the elevator closed, he replied, “Only when I am alone!”
If truly honest, we would all admit that at times we manufacture feelings and attitudes that are less than genuine - a “public relations” image. In fact, we can see that from the very beginning of this world’s history, hypocrisy has been man’s feeble way of cloaking sin.
The Bible records: “When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons” (Genesis 3:6, 7).
Keep in mind that before sin, Adam and Eve were not streaking around the garden of Eden in their birthday tuxedos. In the garden, man had the privilege of talking with God face to face. Thus he was clothed with an aura of light - the same type of light that shone from Moses’ face after he spent time in the presence of God (Exodus 34:29-35). But after Adam and Eve sinned, the light went out and they sensed their nakedness.
Notice that their first reaction to sin was to manufacture a cover-up. When they lost their garments of light as a result of disobedience, Adam and Eve used fig leaves to cover their shame. Before sin, they had never seen anything die, so when they plucked the fig leaves from the tree, I’m sure they expected longer-lasting results. When I picked some fig leaves, I was amazed how quickly they became limp and shriveled. In addition, I found their pungent odor offensive. How very sad that our first parents traded living robes of light for limp, stinky leaves that soon withered and died.
When God spoke to Adam and Eve, He explained that to cover their sin, something besides fig leaves would have to die. At this point, God established the sacrificial system. “Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them” (Genesis 3:21). Adam and Eve made skimpy belts of fig leaves, but God gave them robes of skin, thus symbolizing that Jesus would have to die to cover the sin and nakedness of the lost.
When we sin, one of two things will happen. We either start looking for fig leaves to make our own flimsy cover-up, or we look to Jesus for His robe of righteousness

    • @rabitu041290

      Merely Ornamental
Throughout the Bible, fig leaves are a symbol for man-made religion and false righteousness. The fig tree is a symbol of God’s people.
Please read the following passage carefully: “He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down” (Luke 13:6-9).
Year after year, the owner of the vineyard was disappointed because all he found on his fig tree was leaves. It bore no fruit. It looked like a healthy tree, but he did not plant it for mere ornamental beauty. He wanted fruit.
I believe there also may be a time prophecy hidden in this parable. The vineyard mentioned in verse 6 is the land of Israel (Isaiah 5:1-7; Jeremiah 12:10; Psalm 80:8-16), in which the vine and fig tree - both symbols of Israel and Judah - were planted. The parable of the fig tree gives a total of four years from the time of planting to the final chance for the tree to bear fruit. Now a year in the Bible is 360 days, because the Jews operated on a lunar calendar. Four years would be a total of 1,440 days. A day in prophecy equals a year (Numbers 14:34; Ezekiel 4:6).
According to many chronologists, Joshua crossed over the Jordan and took possession of the Promised Land at approximately 1407 BC. If you extend 1,440 years from that point in time (keeping in mind that there is no zero year), you come to the year AD 34. This important date in history is the same ending point for the 490-year prophecy given in Daniel 9:24. The angel says, “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city,” and in fact the word “determined” is better translated as “cut off.” The parable of the fig tree said, “Then after that thou shalt cut it down” (Luke 13:9, emphasis added). It was in AD 34 that the Jews forfeited their place as God’s covenant people. Then in AD 70, both Jerusalem and the temple were completely destroyed

Yeah so what does this verse mean to you? Weekly su day worship? Notice how in the verses above it mentions that this first day of the week takes place after the feast of unleavened bread. In the old testament time the first day of the week after unleavened bread is the feast of first fruit which is resurrection day in the new testament since jesus rose on the first day of the week after the 15th day of the 1st month(unleavened bread). The reason Paul gathered to break bread waa because on the resurrection day jesus broke bread with the 2 disciples who were walking in Luke 24. So they kept that as a regulation each year from jesus example it has nothing to do with weekly Sunday worship. Even in old testament there were 2 feast days that always land on Sunday, firstfruits and feast if weeks (pentacost) . But Paul kept the what day every week as the worship day? Acts 17:2 Acts 18:4. He kept the 7th day sabbath. Your understanding of that verse is from lack of knowledge of the feasts of God....

OOOoo NO! Then does it mean that Abraham and Job and noel was not saved as well since there was no mention of sabbath .. not one word. O No. For such an important tool of salvation to be absent, did God purposely abandoned them? And most of all ... o no, you and your cult will end up in darkness with much weeping and gnashing of teeth, because you are condemned by your own words!!!! O no.
And BTW if your cult leader try to pass this off as inconsequential, DONT let them misleading you. It is such an essential part of salvation , it must be followed strictly!!! Better resurrect the OLD hebrew calendar and trace back the historical sabbath date. But O no!!! That calendar had to be adjusted around every 200 years due to its inaccuracy. They claim following the new covenant will bring you salvation, they do scare and deter you from other Christian religions. Then they push you and pressure you to be baptized in the church I was pushed after just 1 sermon and Bible study which was surprising, they didn't mention christ ansanghong until the moment of my baptism then proceeded to tell me I will learn more about him later 2 months later I still have not been clarified on who exactly christ ansanghong is and I believe this is because they can feel my skepticism of their beliefs, so they want to convince me more of the truth before dropping the truth. So I had to search for it and I found your videos which confirmed ALL of my fears. God bless you.

Asked if I was interested in things of the spirit and God "Elohim". I immediately thought I was dealing with Latter Day Saints, so when they asked "Do you believe in God?" I said "Which god?" And he responded with "God Elohim, and the Son, and God the mother as Jesus spoke of." And immediately I was like "Oh my goodness this is that group Mike Winger talked about! I literally didn't believe these people existed." I wanted to evangelize to them, but it just wasn't the best encounter just due to circumstances (I didn't have time for a long form convo). Our brother came home from work and she was all cheery and greeted him. My sis plays the victim and I know she tells them we're terrible to her when it's the other way around. This cult is for her.

She tried to tell me that the real day is January 14th, then I corrected her that saying that the first month in the Jewish calendar is April on our calendar and she was confused. I’m glad by the time I was approached I was already spending everyday in my Bible. We must stay in our Word, to show ourselves approved and to not perish due to lack of knowledge.

The leader of the Church of God is Rev. Joo Chul Kim. He was born in Pohang in 1960, the youngest of two boys and two girls, and joined the Church of God with his mother, Mrs. Park. Around 1982, he was assigned as the pastor of the Seoul Church. At that time, there was an evangelist named Gilja Jang in the Seoul Church. Evangelist Jang introduced him to a woman who later turned out to be the cousin of Evangelist Jang's husband, Mr. Kim Jae-hoon. Their marriage brought Jang Gil-jah and Kim Joo-chul into close contact.
However, the sudden death of Pastor Ahn Sang-hong in 1985 threw the Church of God into turmoil, and it was Kim Joo-cheol who stepped in to clean up the mess. Unlike the Busan members, Jang Gil-jah and Kim Ju-cheol did not attend Ahn's funeral in Busan. They were plotting to take control of the church.
According to testimony from members of the Busan church, Kim withdrew 3 million won from a bank account kept at the church and has yet to return it. After the funeral, the Seoul church convened an emergency general assembly and proclaimed Jang Gil-jah as Ahn's bride using Ahn and Jang's wedding photo, but following backlash from Busan church members, Kim reportedly apologized to the congregation in a handwritten memorandum. Kim Joo-cheol had vowed not to idolize Jang Gil-jah, or even himself, but soon afterward he broke his promise by making Jang Gil-jah his god.
According to the testimony of Pastor Ahn's wife, Ms. Hwang, Kim Joo-cheol demanded that Pastor Ahn's body be taken for himself throughout the night. However, when Mr. Hwang objected, saying that the bereaved family was alive and in their care, Kim Joo-cheol left in great disappointment. We don't know what Kim Joo-cheol intended to do with Ahn Sang-hong's body, but we can only marvel at his bizarre behavior.
After splitting from the Busan Church, the newly founded Seoul Church renamed itself the Ahnsahnghong Witness Church of God and, in accordance with Ahnsahnghong's will, declared 1988 to be the end of the world, created and distributed leaflets, and went around Seoul calling out to citizens that 1988 was the end of the world.
Kim preached the doomsday from 1988 to 2012, and whenever he failed, he tried to cover up his ugly crimes by changing the name of his church or filing lawsuits against those who criticized him. When hundreds of members of the Church of God in Daegu left the church and criticized the fraudulent practices of the Church of God and Kim Joo-cheol, the church mobilized its members to assault the defectors, an incident that was covered by MBC News in Daegu for three days.
Kim also submitted a seminary degree certificate to the U.S. Embassy in order to obtain permanent residency in the U.S. According to the certificate, Kim entered Melchizedek Seminary in Jeon Eui-myeon, Chungcheongbuk-do, in 1980 and graduated in 1983. However, according to witnesses, there was no seminary at that time.
According to the Articles of Incorporation of the Church of God, Kim Joo-cheol has the supreme authority to run the church's finances, publish doctrines, and discipline members, and Jang Gil-ja has no authority. According to the Articles of Incorporation, Kim Joo-cheol is the permanent president, which is an absolute power that exceeds the Pope in Catholicism. Therefore, the supreme authority of the Church of God is Kim Joo-cheol, not Jang Gil-ja.
In addition to the end of the world, Kim teaches an evil doctrine that destroys the homes of his followers. He taught that earthly families were fake, that non-believers were demons, and that they were cursed if they did not tithe and evangelize, all of which made him a trillion-dollar fortune in Korean money. It also sued and lost lawsuits against its critics and was branded a cult. The Church of God is run by Kim Joo-cheol, and Jang Gil-jah is just an idol that Kim Joo-cheol built. Just as the idol itself is not powerful, but the person who set it up is powerful, so Kim Joo-cheol, who set up the idol of Jang Gil-jah, is the real owner of the Church of God. However, Church of God members are unaware of this fact.

@@michaelluvsyouu7720. Jesus was a Jew so he naturally kept the Sabbath. 🤷🏿‍♀️ So the answer is quite obvious. 2. Jesus also didn't act like how the religious leaders expected. He did things that they claimed "broke" the rules and it made them angry enough to kill him. They were upset he wasn't doing what they wanted even though they added 600+ regulations to practicing the Sabbath according to historians. It was to the point that Jesus healing a man on the Sabbath was an offense to them. In Mark 3 it angered Jesus and grieved his heart at how hard hearted and legalistic the Pharisees were.
Then Paul in Romans talks about these things (just as Mike noted).
The truth is not determined by any particular church or denomination. It's determined by God and his Word. We do a disservice when we take things out of context to fit an agenda.

They try to guilt me into bible study constantly and I openly refuse because I know there is no mother god. When I tell them this they cry and it hurts but I keep telling them I am praying for them, that he true God will use this darkness they are experiencing for good some day. I have faith in our heavenly Father to deliver them from their blindness and they will see the heresy. I did go to one bible study, God revealed everything I needed to know in that one visit. Apparently members are spoon fed information bits at a time, I know in my heart the questions I kept asking led them to reveal more than they should have. I than told my mom and she immediately backed away from being open to their teachings. She grew up we were ring the headdress as a child and it was an aspect she respected, until I told her of their supposed Christ Ansahnhong, she was so surprised because they hid it so well. What I learned or was told was that the beginning isn't really the beginning and adam/eve were not the first people but the first Christ followers. That we are all fallen angels and are working to get back to heaven. That some of us that haven fallen are not truly guilty of our condemnation because we didnt intentionally choose to follow the 1st fallen angel. Also that sigh! GOD made a mistake and Jesus didnt finish his work and through prophecy he didnt finish his time period of work, it's all a jumbled mess! They take the focus of of the reason Christ died for our sins and try to belittle his works by saying it is a different era of Christ. It's all lies and they are all deceivers being deceived and decieving others. They are demons that must be exposed and I hurt knowing my girls souls are at risk, that they are busy trying to reel in other souls.... I try not to be angry with them and love them, I study I read I pray I watch videos I teach/direct an AWANA class with my husband and teenage son, I used to teach Cubbies and my two lil guys are Sparks, I am afraid to have them around my girls because I don't want them brainwashed! Naya Harvey answer me this, does everyone that goes to a church a believer? People go in and out of churches and some become atheists or join other pagan religion. Does that make your church occult just because other people didn't accept or received God's message well? What im saying is, that not everyone who enters our church is God's children. What part of that makes our church occult? (Please read Matt. 13 about the sower, hopefully make sense the point I'm making)When people think that's when we get into trouble, cause we have been under the influence of the world.( We need to start using our eyes and our ears not our minds) If a person truly wants to know God, God will come to them. We are the lost and God is the Shepherd in the parables... who went looking for the lost sheep. I urge you to reconsider your thinking and pray God will give you guidance. In the end there will be a divide, families will separate just as Jesus gave example....Jesus pointed out these are my brothers and my sisters, those who were the believers. It is hurting your daughters that's why the cry. It's not to pursuade you, it's about the deceptions most people are trapped in. Jesus also wept cause he knew some of God's children we're trapped in the deceptions and are deceived. Your girls understand this, why they weep.

This is a fact: Anyone who believes in Mother God has failed to know the definition of "Jesus is God". Individual or groupwise. Jesus is God basically means whatever Jesus can do God can also. If Jesus is the truth like it states in John 14:6 God is as well. If Jesus performed miracles so did his father. This is what Jesus is God actually means you guys. Again anyone who believes in Mother God. God is the only being...........WHO WAS NEVER BORN. That's correct. God Almighty was here from the beginning. His son Jesus Christ however was. Mary gave birth to him although while she was pregnant an angel told her she would be birthing the greatest person in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!! The song goes in Above All "you were here before the world began" this line is talking about God.

Thank you Mike for this informative video. I have been in this church since 2018 and have lived in fear since then. Although I was not 100% committed, I believed the doctrine, followed it, and in the past, preached it. However, I am now doing my own research and found a lot of information that raised more questions than answers. I will admit, I am now lost, confused, and hurt. What do I do to wholeheartedly follow true Christ? At the end, I would love to be with God almighty in Heaven after I have lived my physical life.

Give your life to Jesus Christ for only through him can we know the father and have eternal life

Wow, you can be banned from doing livestreams for 3 months just because of an independent complaint? I know for a lot of people, this is their livelihood. That seems really harsh.
How come the Catholics don't simply get any of the great multitide of anti-catholic videos on youtube banned? They are wealthy, it seems, at least as a whole.

Takes a lot more than that to scare me. I'd call them out in a heartbeat.

Thanks for your videos on this topic. I ran into a college age guy that is a follower of this group today and have now been researching what this false Gospel is so I can reach out to those in it with the truth of God's breathed out word. I like doing a simple side by side contrast of scripture vs. false teachings.

Mike, thank you for the deep dive research you are doing. I heard your presentations on this "God the Mother" cult in the past and found it informative, but at that time it was "out there". Today I got a text message from one of these guys. Apparently, he stopped my teenage son at local Walmart and tried to recruit him. My kid gave him my number instead of his. Under other circumstances I would not be pleased but after I called this Church of God guy and talked to him, I called my son and said "Good move, kid". This stuff is dangerous for people who are not schooled. You are doing God's work and trying to keep us safe from the wolves. God bless you for that!

Interesting, I was approached by two young girls earlier this evening and asked me if I believe in God. The first thing they brought up is the “mother of God” and then proceeded to spit scriptures. I said, well I believe in the only God Jesus Christ. They paused and I asked what church do you go to? one of the girls pulled out a book “Elohist” I googled in front of them and kept saying the only God I believe in is Jesus Christ. They said they’re Christians too but funny how they didn’t bring out the Bible. They couldn’t convince me so they left. Lol which was interesting.
It’s very true they were trying to confuse me from what you said in the beginning of your video.

What they are sharing to you came from Jesus Christ Himself. It was God who made it possible for you to hear about the good news about God's truth.God the Father, Jesus Christ and His disciples testified in the Bible that we have God the Mother along with God the Father since the very beginning.

@@channelofafangirl6926 really, which part of bible is actually saying there is such a thing called god mother?

@@imdatguy0224 That is true, that is why we have to seek God, and worship only the true God. In the Bible, God the Mother is testified, She is God, Almighty and Very Holy. =D

Hey, I'm really wanting to preach at their church near me. It sounds like they don't have pastors? If you had the opportunity, for a quick short sermon, what would you press on?
I really think the lady I spoke to, who led me to your video, she was totally deceived. Also, look how the Muslim religion started, someone completely blinded and thought an actual angel spoke to him.
