This is my favorite mini album so far! Every song is so good in its own way. With Raising i feel like that's basically like an epic anthem to fight the final boss haha, We Are young is gonna be perfect for the end of the concerts, just imagine everyone doing the "wooo wooo" at the last chorus, and Shatter just punch you in the face in the best way possible.
I'm still half-and-half on the Ollounder era so far. But holy shit, Rising gives me hope, much like Propose gave me hope last album. Keep up on what works, and follow through on what got DC there this far, their uniqueness in the K-Pop space. Yeah, Rising is my definite favorite this era. It's the perfect blend of current DC maturity and their classic J-Rock inspired sound.
If you want a glimpse of how Rising is going to be in concert, they DID perform this as a standing mic concert. Maybe a Patreon already said this, but I would check it out, there is a part at the end that the lyric video doesn't capture which is Gahyeon and Yoohyeon are doing the chorus together and I definitely want more of that.
This is Handong's era. Has she ever had such meaty parts across an entire album before? She's just slinging those vocals all over the place.
This mini album is so different but I'm loving it. Handong is so good on this album and it's awesome when we get Dami singing.
