That river runner shuttle is super convenient for solo paddlers. You don't have to worry about having 2 cars and driving back and forth before and after the trip.
@@RockClimbinGrandma We start just below Easton and get out at Tinicum park. It is an incredibly beautiful stretch that can take 2 to 3 hours or 5 or six hours. Depends on how much we paddle. Love watching the fish and wildlife and enjoying God's incredible handiwork.
AWESOME VIDEO!!!!! Nice info!!! I wasn't sure if they had a bus for traveling between points, and its FREE!!! Wow!!!! Awesome. gonna do it soon!!! TY!!!!
I like the sound of a free bus and I have always fancied giving a kayak a go, although, 10 miles sounds a long pull. Mind you, when you got weather like that and scenery like that, I can see the attraction. To be honest, it looked a dam fine day out, cheers Alan
Don't let 10 miles on a river scare you although I recommend working up to it. The same area has short trips like 5 or 6 miles which take only an hour or two. The beauty of the kayak is if you get tired of paddling you can just lie back and float. The trip might take longer but you can't beat the relaxing ride.
Sure! Unfortunately, due to COVID, they are suspending service in the 2021 season. Here is a link to the Pocono Pony River Shuttle www.gomcta.com/trip.php
Hmmm. The drying time is no longer than any other inflatable.. at least that I know of. Drying is important because you don't want mold to develop after you pack it away. Hard shells generally don't need to be fully dry when you put them away. So inflatables require more drying than a hard shell. Thanks for stopping by!
Hi thanks for the video! Do you know if the free shuttle is still available this year (2021)? Where does the shuttle take you and kayak to, to get into the river? And where does the shuttle pick up to go back to the parking lot? Thanks!
I just checked and they are suspending the Pocono Pony river runner for the 2021 season due to COVID. So sad. But you can get more information here: www.gomcta.com/trip.php
Thanks so much for the link...I don't know why I wasn't able to Google it before. This definitely helps me plan (or rather not plan) for a kayak trip there this year! Have a blessed year!

A bus that will also take you kayak for free ...that is awesome!!! The river and hike looked nice.
It was pretty amazing. Can't wait to do it again!
@@RockClimbinGrandma I wish we had some free buses around here. We paddleboard and would love to do a paddle like this.
It was a pleasure chatting with you on Nick’s live. The views of the river are amazing and it looks like you had the time of your life! Amazing. 💜
Definitely enjoyable. Nice to meet you too. Thanks for stopping by!
What a great shuttle service! Looks like a wonderful paddle. Thanks for sharing it.
One of my favorites!
Wow free shuttle looks awesome
Right! Unfortunately I can't run it this year.
My son in law and I have done the Delaware 3 times, one 23 mile trip and 2 times 15 miles. Just love it!
Awesome! That is the next thing I want to do. Any tips?
