Beautiful looking car. The body, windows, rims ect. It sure does look 1/10 scale. What I like the most is the way Losi placed the motor inside the car instead of hanging out the back like the DR-10. I'm sure we will see more of this car in the future and plenty of cool speed runs. Great job Rek RC. 👍👍
Also the motor position is adjustable on the losi from what I've heard. I haven't looked into that yet, but the little Losi is not only one of the fastest 2s only RTR cars out of the box, but I really think it's THE QUICKEST 2s only RTR in stock form. The DR10 is made with the idea of tuning in mind, so out of the box it's geared like the SCT it's based on but there are all kinds of gearing options and tuning potential for it. To me it seems the DR10 is designed to get an RTR no prep drag car into your collection for cheap, then you tune it from there. I'll be tuning mine for sure.
@@Rek_Rc Good deal. Your new car is awesome. You do your research and it's nice when you share it with us. I really like watching RC drags. Dirt or street but I think I'll try to stay in the dirt with my DR10 until I find a better location and get my driving skills up. Too much carnage if you crash into curbs. Obviously my DR10 is not tuned but I had some Toe Out on my last run and someone said for straight runs give it some slight Toe In. Seems reasonable. I'm looking forward to more runs with your Chevelle. I know you'll have it dialed in and get some impressive speed out of it. Especially off the line. That thing rips....
Picked up the black one this weekend at horizon fest. Can’t wait to run it. Snuck it in the house, gonna have to sneak it out to do the first runs lol 😂 wife don’t know I bought it yet lol 😂
Awe hahahaha man I've been there. But, that little losi was worth the potential night in the doghouse though, they really rip, it takes a high speed 3s powered car to beat it in a drag race and even then, it will still win often.
Omg you stole it at that price. It's a ripper..I have footage of it nearly beating two legit fast cars, one was the big brother 22s. It just accelerates so quickly. Tops out about 38 MPH but it almost doesn't matter because it hits that speed almost instantly.
I just bought one and just noticed the wheels are turned to the right! How do I make them straight? It’s a good thing I noticed before I took it on his first run. It would’ve went around in a circle or hit something. Thanks!
Yes what happened was when I put the batteries and remote I couldn’t figure out how to cut the remote on so a buddy of mine, took it and he must’ve turned a few knobs on it I noticed on the left there’s a switch, but I can’t quite read what it says I noticed when I push the switch to wheels go left to right and on the right side. There’s a knob and I noticed that when I turned the knob, the wheels goes. left to right, so I’m assuming this is like a trim? I messed with it the best I can but I still can’t get it to go quite straight.
@kennethwilson2409 that sounds like the trim knob. If that isn't doing the trick, I would look into adjusting the servo endpoints, there is videos and articles about how to do that, also look to see if any physical linkage might be bent. Sometimes in transit, packages take quite a beating. It does seem strange though because that car runs famously straight consistently.

I like my suspension to work on all my cars and trucks it looks good and drives good when everything is working smoothly 😊👍
That car has ideal suspension for its size, weight and design right out of the box. You don't see that often.
@@Rek_Rc it looks fun to drive like a two-wheel drive touring car😎👍

That’s dope asf bro I got to test some with you soon
Heck yeah dude. I'm bringing them this weekend!
I was able to pick one up, new in the box. The body had been used by a friend of the hobby shop so it had a couple scratches. Crazy part........$100

Any mods you do to it?
@MelbourneExclusive0 that's bone stock.
@@Rek_Rc that's awesome almost 40 mph out the box is great 🔥
I want one of these. I’ve had 3 chevelle’s over the years.
My review does no justice to how good this little car really is to drive.
@@Rek_Rc I’m glad to see that the wing can come off the back. If I get one I’m gonna make it look more like my last chevelle did
Currently these are $60 off for horizons summer sale on their website
That's a great deal for the performance and durability of those little rippers.
Sweet. Can you tell me the axle diameter on these? Wondering about using the hex/wheel combo on other small scale vehicles.
They are 8mm hex wheels.
@@Rek_Rc thanks! yep I knew that. But wondering what the axle diameter is. Eg what size is the hole in the hex for the axle.
@@QuinnsRC oh I see, not sure off hand but I can find out.
Do they have other battery options
Not really, unless you change the connector.

Have you turned it on with the car and radio on yet?

Oil Shocks?
Yes
@@Rek_Rc Thank You
Can it be turned into And o road car
I'm not sure because it's a 6000 kv motor, so it may over heat running it off road.
Sorry ment on road car
