Totally agree that Black Americans have privilege's when traveling abroad, sad thing is that many of us don't even realize it because so many of us don't even have passports to travel! It def sucks that black/african people are treated differently, which is why I try to use that passport privilege to stick up for Africans whenever I see someone being mistreated in my travels. best of luck!
loved the video, loved the vibe... this might sound dramatic, but one of my biggest dreams is to live in Thailand. It feels like I was born there on my past life because it’s just crazy how everything about the country feels so familiar and events that happen there touch me in such an intense way. Thank you for this video ladies.
Miss Feifei, its our pleasure. Thailand is beautiful, offers so much and no you are not being dramatic 😁. I hadn't planned on being here longer than 3 years but here I am 5 years later. If you so wanna live here then why not give it a try?
Great to hear about cost of living is very affordable. I do a lot of solo backpacking. This can be a good destination for me. I love Arusha as well🥰🥰 Thailand is in my bucketlist and will look into it more and more. I want to vlog with you there
American and European privilege is real all over Asia! I've lived most of my life in Europe so I'm used to racism but here it's more subtle 😂 I have always loved Asia but Asians can be quite straightforward and creative with their racism 😅😅
Hey Ladies, i am considering moving to Thailand would like if you girls do a vlog or share places to get hair, nails, waxing, etc done in Thailand as a black girl for our fellow ladies like me...
I don't know how we forgot about that because it's a thing as well. Some girls do it personally but we also have about 3 or 4 saloons in Bangkok so you can imagine how expensive they can get.
Thank you so much for this video! I am planning on backpacking around Thailand soon and this answered a lot of my questions! Are there a lot of braiders or afro hair salons?
Glad to see these amazing girls from Africa doing well in Asia. 10 years is quite a looong time, do you still like Africa or Thailand(read Asia) has stolen your heart?😜🤪
I am so overjoyed and a bit envious of black women living abroad and feeling safe and being happy .living your best life. Smiling and being beautiful inside and out. Without being judged.
I have a question. Outside of Dave ESL do you know a place to apply for work? I'm planning on moving there if I am able to find a job. I want to ask more, but.... any ideas would be great.
I am just seeing this video. I have a question. Do any of you speak Thai? I am learning a few phrases i plan to use when i visit there in a couple months.
I eat rice with banana and people always find it weird but apparently it's something common in Thailand. Interesting ! (I don't like rice. And banana is my favourite fruit so it helps me bear with rice. Banana or avocado)
You guys just boast my love for Thailand, and I would love to visit but I wanna know , do you actually have friends there? Like those who really are friends with you
Thailand needs more English speakers. Even you are not native speaker but I find it is easy to understand. It depends on past experience with other African people that is why they view you like that.
That's not true! They judge solely based on skin colour. You're implying that black Africans must have done something to deserve discrimination and racism.

How do the ladies manage their hair? Personally or salon visits?
I don't know how we forgot about that because it's a thing as well.

You end up learning to manage your own hair in the long run. I plaited once in Bangkok and didn't go back. 😂😂😂
