      too right, i'm writing in 2024 and this has changed my life. i used to be a UI/UX designer for 20 years and hated the concept waiting to see results, and making minor changes because i'm not working on the actual front end.
      safe to say, i don't use figma anymore, i can design and build the front end together with supabase for the back. i'm making apps instead of just designing them for others to build,
      i'm blown away byt this, it's what i've been looking for all my UI designer life

      @@DigitalDesignET Just think how many more jobs there would be without WordPress.
      I agree there are indeed benifits to this, it shortens our time to build a project for sure. We can create prototype more easily. Google is not supporting costom Backend since they are wanting to make us use firebase. This is not everything for sure, but demands for junior or mid level futter developers will decrease for sure and there will be people so will use flutter studio and create amazing apps which otherwise would not have been ideal.

And no its not taking anyone's job away lol, it just makes work easier and fun if you choose to use it. A smart developer embraces tools that take their game to the next level. So these kind of tools are good for projects where u need landing page and very simple project. Everything else at least little bit more complex u need engineer which knows what to do to make your project succeed. Otherwise everyone would use WordPress but flexibility is the biggest issue with these tools and that cannot be change.

All the widgets are named according to Flutter, so that's going to be difficult for non-developers to figure out. With all the customization it provides, as an app becomes more complex, it'll become more difficult to make it using FlutterFlow. People in this comment section are acting like FlutterFlow is going to steal their job. If a tool that has the same capability as a Flutter developer who made it through 3 weeks of Angela Yu's course, then maybe you have misunderstood what it means to be a developer. There is more to it than throwing together some widgets and making some API calls. You guys look just as silly as the native developers who complained about Flutter stealing app development jobs by being too easy. Low and no-code web development has been around for years, and yet React, Vue, and Angular developers still have jobs.

    If you reference the ‘building fluttermet’ video, why not add a card or link to it in your description? Instead forcing interested viewers to manually search (had to rewind the video to hear what the video was called), why not just take that tiny amount of effort to add a link? Imagine the number of views you are missing out on just for such a tiny thing.

    what if there some new features we want in our app and this tool has not have this features yet we wait a couple months for updates and then i working on it after months of waiting updates in our app, so in the final Still building all the new features in our app by our hands as developer better than any new tools, change my mind

      Then you code them, same as you did before. Is this not obvious? When you want a text entry box in Flutter do you build the UI out of primitives and program all the functionality of taking keyboard inputs and updating the UI with the corresponding keystrokes, or do you just put a TextFormField into your widget tree?

      @geeky4870 3 года назад

      It's quite sure that soon the jobs will be replaced by artificial intelligence. This project is however good for many. But I strongly oppose flutter's teams not focusing on the flutter part instead promoting a freemium type of tool to the market. If you are doing such things why you have documentation to explain the codes. Let them do it. And we'll simply watch them make money by subscribing to their plans which is costly for even to download the code.

    I have got a question for Flutter team. Flutter flow looks awesome but can it replace the developers working with flutter framework? And as the one who started learning Flutter recently, should I just stop learning it? Or in other words does Flutter flow possess any threat for Flutter developers? Honestly I am totally confused.

    • @kamilraczka1922
      @kamilraczka1922 3 года назад +1

      I don’t think you should be afraid. There’s wix.com that potentially could replace web developers but they still have their jobs. Moreover, Flutter experts will be needed more and more. Possibilities of Flutter become more promising than ever before and it definitely would require specialists that could build cross platform systems based on Flutter.

      Flutter is the highest preferred framework for cross platform development right now. It really has a good future. Don't stop learning anything, it's a failure or success, it's gonna help you sometime in your life. FlutterFlow can't replace expert flutter developers.
      Happy Journey

      I really don't think so, there are many components of a app, that a simple tool can't create, hence developers will always be needed.. it's more useful for creating prototypes or MVP's of apps
