The phones are great, but the cases get worse every single year. They are all crap, barely fit, and now they want to charge $100 ???? Even worse, we have companies like Pitaka and Benks that think they are going to charge us $65-$70 and give us half a case. Samsung needs to get with the bigger, we'll known case companies and help them find a way to make these cases stick better. Add nipple indentation or something they can mold the case into grabbing. I'm tired of 99% of my options being junk Chinese cases. I want real, high end cases by real high end case companies, then I'll pay $100.
truth. luckily i got a samsung spen case as a pre-order bonus, so i don't have to use the phone naked, but the pen-holder is position above the wireless charging coil. so while that does work, it seems pretty inefficient. that's why rn i'm looking for a new case, and like you described... there's a flood of china-cases which i don't really trust, but also a lot of more known (and expensive) brands like spigen seem to have released more mediocre products for the fold 6.
Since having my Fold 6, I've had and returned nine cases. I have a UAG case now. It fits pretty well. No issues yet. I just wish they would bring back the built-in screen protectors on cases.
@@CastroJordanI got away with no hinge protection on my fold 5 but for my fold 6 for some reason I want hinge protection. These are all 1 year rentals/trade ins. Don't want to take a chance.
This video was great, and case videos for the Z Fold 6 are sorely lacking right now. There aren't a ton of options out there, but it makes it even harder to not see the usual suite of case videos. It would be great if you could do more cases for the Z Fold 6 in the future!
Not sure how many people are new to the folds, but DO NOT buy a case with the adhesive crap for the front screen half. As soon as that adhesive unsticks the flimsy narrow piece of the case will rub across the front screen and edges while in your pockets and moving around. It leaves tons of small scratches literally everywhere it touches on the phone pretty quickly. Be careful of that
I love the Slim Armor Pro for my Fold 3 and I'm sad to pass it up this time. I want mag safe this time around, and the one for the Fold 3 had a camera lip beyond the lenses. No camera protection is the bigger deal breaker for me.
I tested about 7 cases. I typically only use aramid carbon fiber cases. I prefer hinge protection. My winner is the Benks KEVLAR case with hinge protector but I had to use the front screen protector from another slim case. It is crazy lightweight and looks very premium. No contest. Second place goes to the Nillkin but I had to popout the lens protector so that mu camera protectors could fit. I added the Caselogy tempered glass protection for the front and WSKEN camera lens protectors.
Ive got the fusion but it's too bulky, I've had the ringke slim on my fold 5 for ages but they haven't released it yet for the 6. As far as clear cases goes thats the one that is the least bulky.
Nice vid! 👌🏽 Please review some of the aramid cases, like the Thinborne one. Also maybe some cases with s-pen slots? Oh and the best magsafe cases out there? 😅
After trying out several different cases for my Z fold 6 I have found that you do not need any sticky on any of the cover. I have a difficult time getting the covers off.
Yeah, I'll pass on these. I would rather have a case that has full protection for the camera lenses and the front screen as well as a place for my s pen.
Man I just ordered that spigen one a few days ago and didn't know the camera lens wasn't protected! I'm definitely going to return it. Especially for the price. Good thing we watched this video! lol
The search for ANY z fold 6 case that lies completely flat when open with no wobble continues. The Spigen one almost does it, but the hinge cover will cause it to see-saw when open, and the price tag is unreasonable. I'm flabbergasted that no one seems to give a shit about the usability of the phone when open and put down on a table.
Ringke always makes great cases, just wish this one had hinge protection and I would buy it. They dropped the ball this year. Great video, your voice and the taps is like ASMR. Will watch all of your future fold 6 videos.
@@srirajvasireddy2615 on samsung website you have an offer, if you buy the phone, send invoice and pictures, they refund thé case a month later. Its in Europe tho idk outside.
👍 thumbs up for not being AI Also would love if you could check the thinborne case for the fold 6, I've read a few comments saying the magnet was off center from the charging rings and would love to know if this is true or not
Nice video I really enjoyed your video and your voice is amazing and smooth. Very calm but honestly, I will pass on all these cases even though they look amazing. I need one that house is my S Pen so I went ahead and ordered the FNTCASE from amazon which will house my pen when I need it so I can use it
Why don't these cases cover the top screen? They might be protected with the raised edges when hitting the floor, but not if you have car keys or coins in your pocket.

Agreed. That's been my biggest headache with the phone. I just relented and went with a Samsung case
@@Johnnyiswhereme too I just went samsung s pen z fold 6 case

The most important part of the phone is to protect the hinge. Spigen has great cases.

Thank you! I was also underwhelmed when I went looking around for cases to review, but I am hoping we'll see more options as well.

I had the official samsung case for my Fold 4 and that flimsy piece broke the first week. I hadn't even dropped the phone yet. Keep telling the truth.
Built in screen protectors are kinda garbage, I feel like they lower the screen quality.
I wish that spigen case had a magsafe option
I love the Slim Armor Pro for my Fold 3 and I'm sad to pass it up this time. I want mag safe this time around, and the one for the Fold 3 had a camera lip beyond the lenses. No camera protection is the bigger deal breaker for me.
For those that use the s pen occasionally, what do you recommend on how to carry the s pen?
is the spigen tough armor pro P out yet ? also do magsafe sticker rings work with it ?
Need the Hinge protection case in Colors, black is boring

I just went with the zagg clear case but it doubles the thickness of the phone so not really practical

After trying out several different cases for my Z fold 6 I have found that you do not need any sticky on any of the cover. I have a difficult time getting the covers off.
Honestly, same! Especially for how the Fold 6 is shaped, I think if you design it right, it's not wholly necessary.
Yeah, I'll pass on these. I would rather have a case that has full protection for the camera lenses and the front screen as well as a place for my s pen.

Thinborne was the perfect option for me slim and looks amazing

How the hell was your phone sliding on it's own at the beginning of the video? 0:13
a g-g-g-ghjost (probably gravity)
Haha
Do u think we still need to apply screen if we use the ringke clear case?
The Ringke one doesn't have a screen protector, so if you want the most coverage you should!
I love spigen but that seems like a pretty basic case for 70usd.
Hopefully the price goes down soon...
I want magsafe with pen holder in clear 😒😒
Torras has one that's opaque 😊

Thanks for the comment and case suggestion! I didn't know there was such a huge demand for S Pen storage on the Flip 6 until I read the comments.

Defi Italy not the best cases. U can't even fit a pen in them and the adhesive will f up phone up
Samsung kindsuit leather case the best
No case ftw
