Rose of Versailles got me into history, I love how historically accurate the show is compared to the reality of what happened in the events of French history, I’m planning to take a college course on history along with literature in the future ❤
So, im italian and i grew up with the dub version which also had a different opening, a much more cheerful one, but this is so melancholic, much more in character with the story and i love it
esatto, è un classico purtroppo!! Le nostre sigle sono stupende e le impari dopo 2 volte che le hai sentite (vengono ammirate molto anche dai giapponesi che addirittura le cantano ai karaoke), ma il 90% delle volte cozzano con le musiche all'interno dell'opera e anche il testo non si sposa molto con la storia. Mi vengono in mente ashita no joe/rocky joe, gundam 0079 e molti altri. Lo stesso vale con gli adattamenti, i doppiaggi italiani sono superlativi ma gli adattamenti più volte hanno stravolto parti importanti, come il ''madamigella oscar'' con cui viene chiamata quasi sempre ma che nel manga e nell'anime originale non viene quasi mai usato a corte...
sì, le produzioni spesso ingaggiano orchestre che suonano tutta la colonna sonora che poi verrà utilizzata per tutta la serie. Poi spessissimo il tema iniziale e finale vengono fatti interpretare o anche scritti da gruppi o artisti molto famosi in giappone, tutto questo anche per avere un doppio ritorno economico, visto che in giappone, a differenza dell'italia, le sigle degli anime vanno subito in classifica e vengono passate in radio e ovunque, qui al riguardo c'è ancora un certo snobbismo nei confronti dei prodotti animati. Pure cristina d'avena, nonostante abbia tanto successo nei suoi concerti, è sempre etichettata come ''quellla delle sigle dei cartoni per i bambini'' dai professionisti, poi vabbè tra ''noi puffi siam così'' e un pezzo tipo ''again'' di Yui o ''blue bird'' degli Ikimono gakari c'è un abisso infinito ahha In occidente si salvano solo i prodotti disney, ma perchè è la stessa disney international a metterci i milioncini e a controllare i casting in ogni paese, non fa scegliere al distributore locale @@lake4ishikawa
@@elpasadordeoro c'è da dire che stiamo parlando di sigle fatte negli anni 80 e destinate a bambini completamente fuori dal target originale delle opere (per dire, un ragazzo nato tra la fine degli anni 60 e quella dei 70, sicuramente non può aver vissuto la terribile situazione economica del giappone che raccontava rocky joe, né la sua storia tragica), quindi sono canzoni pensate per attrarre praticamente solo grazie alla forza ed al valore dei protagonisti delle varie serie. resta anche che non tutte le sigle originali giapponesi sono troppo coerenti con la storia ed il messaggio originale. per dire, devilman, che è (parlo solo del manga, non ho visto l'anime) un'opera con molte interpretazioni ed un finale tragico, viene sminuito nella sigla ci sono una lista di abilità ed "lui è l'eroe della giustizia", che alla fine non è troppo diverso da quello a cui siamo abituati, tipo la sigla di daitarn. secondo me dovremmo prenderle per quello che sono: delle belle canzoni pensate per la pubblicità, e sotto questo aspetto, da Heidi a One Piece, credo che in Italia abbiamo fatto un lavoro ottimo

Bold statement: Many times the German cartoon intros have beaten the originals (Japanese and US), but this one utterly destroys the German attempt. That baroque cembalo solo, mixed with folk flute, disco beat pumping, dramatic romance and female vocals... it's so groovy, yet beautifully sad, lovely and elegant. Japanese cartoon music composers sure aim high and love it complex, as it seems. Chapeau!
