Excellent! And I concur on a couple of counts: 1). I also never see more than 13.7 MPH on flat ground on my trike. 2). No Slime in my tires. My first puncture was at mile 55. Cut the tube open just to be sure. Emailed Lectric customer support. They sent me two replacement tubes (not one, not three - odd) and offered to reimburse for a bottle of Slime, but I'd already put Flat Out in them. I also get great range on my tike, but have never tried to replicate their range tests. Lots of hills, crazy heat, stopping and starting. But, impressive nonetheless! Thanks for doing this!
An outstanding test. I notice the controller has better amperage control than my XP3.0’s do. The trike I bought for my wife has a bent wheel that I’m working with Lectric to replace. Rideable though. I have fun on it but sure is weird getting of it from a ride and immediately riding my 3.0. Lastly, I was waiting for you to clip one of those posts on the bridge.
@@LectricGo that's my wife's three-wheeler. I have an ex premium and I bought one for our 12 year old granddaughter. But she may have switched it and doesn't even know it? But I'm going to check it you're probably right thought it was strange going 11.5 mi an hour but I really didn't have time to look at it add to get things done around our home we're supposed to get bad thunderstorms I can hear them in the distance now. Oh yeah they're coming big-time it's getting louder so they're getting closer the thunderstorms.
No problems so far. Police seem to generally ignore bikes of all types here. The bigger issue is a lack of safe bike lanes which forces me onto sidewalks in many areas.
My trike is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Your review has me even more eager to hit the road (I bought a trike because of health concerns).
Thank you.
Your the best on here. I'll check in on every vid you make. Very helpful. Thank you.
Thank you 🙏 I appreciate the encouraging words!
What a great review!
Glad you liked it!
Excellent video! thanks for doing this for us new Trike owners

Awesome! Mine is on the way...
Enjoy! Hopefully they've improved the packaging as some early ones arrived with bent fenders and such.
I really appreciate your effort. This was an excellent presentation…complete with drama and excitement. Very helpful.
Luckily the drama happened near the end and didn't result in me having to repeat the test! 😅
Great video! Thanks.
My HJM Trike doesn't have cruise control.
Cruise is really nice on long, easy rides.
Keep in mind, battery performance is greatly affected by temperature. In cold weather range will drop.
Yup, on my winter commute I see a 30% drop in range.
excellent test

Luckily the posts look closer than they really are and the bike is narrower than it appears :)
Thank you
Considering one of my intended destinations is only about 15 miles from my house this is VERY promising.
How or when do I know when to use the throttle on my electric trike
Great test. Nice bike.
Thanks! 👍
No slime in the tires 🛞 and I have a flat tire 😢😢😢
😞Mention it to Lectric. Others have had some form of compensation when they failed to install Slime.
Here in Michigan, the top speed on this bicycle 11.5 mph.
It sounds like you may not have unlocked it in the settings to allow for 14mph?

It seems that I have to be really careful with the throttle, because the trike surges a little to quickly. It wants to take off. Is this normal?
What's the material of the bike, aluminum or iron?
Aluminum
@@LectricGo Thank you so much for your reply. And do you know the material of the chain guard?
How do you use Cruz control? I did know it had this feature.
Yup! Got a video on that :). Works the same on both Trike and XP 3.0 ruclips.net/video/qmnxsQ7gpdU/видео.html
Great real world test! Too bad you got a flat at the end though. Slime FTW.
Patched and slimed as soon as I got home!
do you think El Paso is a e-bike friendly city? Have you had any problems?
