Even that all toy pro was payhetic in this test! WHO swings their coil fron to back when they hunt? Your #'s might have been bettet swinging the targets side to side of the coil.

Best video on how these detectors work I’ve ever seen ! Also, Showing the screen on all the different detectors ,wile they were reacting to different metals , was very helpful, and informative as well , I’m a beginner, so I didn’t even know how the screen displays even worked! Great video!!! , please do more just like it ,with more higher end models! That was great! My only complaint would be that you could have made your measuring stick more professional looking , with more accurate markings , and I wish you had more detectors to sample! But that being said , thank you so much for such an easy to understand video !! , you may not have realized it , but that video meant a lot to us beginners!!! Thanks again!!! Ps. With all the traffic you are generating to you page, You may be able to contact these different metal detecting companies and have them agree to send you out there products to for free ,in order for you to review them, this type of thing happens all the time , you should reach out to them! Also I bet if you put a call out to any listeners with old metal detectors they wouldn’t mind giving to you ,I bet they would volunteer them to send to you!

I like your testing method. Is there a variance for the substance/material you are detecting in? For example dirt, sand, clay. With no substance in the way of the objects you are testing would the detection depth be shorter if they were actually buried in one of the substances I mentioned?

doing this test with the AT pro you would have done better to have the detector set to Pro mode not standard and the Iron disc set at zero with sensitivity all the way up. because you had the other two detectors running without discrimination and full sens

The at Pro is way better than is portrayed here. He has it in “custom” mode instead of “zero.” The custom mode notches out certain targets and he also has iron disc at 35 which is why the nails weren’t producing an audio response. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the AT Pro.

I have a Bounty hunter challenger and it performs like your cheap model. The needle is all over the place when searching no matter the settings.
What exactly makes one metal detector better then the other if all they are doing is detecting metal? Is it the search coil? The control box program?

thank you for the excellent video! I’d love to get into metal detecting more seriously one day but i was wondering what folks suggestion would be for me finding a ring i lost in the slightly wooded area behind my house? i fairly certain it was a silver ring if that helps. it fell right off my hand in the cold and i looked around when i felt it fall and couldnt find it :(
tried finding the same ring online recently but i guess its been long enough that while pics exist, nobody’s selling one anymore.

Gems are not ferromagnetic, google that. The more you pay the better you got basicly. Garret or some other "guality" products are a lot more precise and more tested than the cheap ones but the cheap ones work too, just dont believe what the cheap stuff says it found.

The Garrett was always my Nr 1. Now my 11 yr old son is on the AT Pro. I now have the Makro Racer 2. But indeed the AT loves war relics. I live in the Netherlands not far from Germany and Belgium. I guess i dont need to give you a history lesson what happened here in 1940/1945🤣🤣. I found Helmets/Medals/Ammo lots of that/ live shells..... so the AT Pro is a real relic hunter. 👌

LOL. this test makes me laugh. If you are new do not rely on this test. There are so many other factors than just air test. You need to do homework and figure out what kind of detecting you are doing (example; coin hunting, gold prospecting, beach hunting, water hunting, etc) and prepare to spend money on the right machine. Just like any other hobby.

I respect the comment, that is a good point to do homework and spend the money on the right machine. Lots of ppl have doubts when starting new hobbies and tend to go cheap, and with detectors you get what you pay for. Anyway happy hunting.

Treasure Kings, where is your video? It's really easy to talk shit about someone else's video and point out every little thing that's wrong with it. At least he is trying to take the time and make a video to show people some tips who are just getting started. Instead of insulting the guy and trying to show that your Dick is bigger than 2 inches hard maybe you could offer some constructive criticism instead of saying ahh it makes me laugh this test is irrelevant hey everybody look at my Micropenis.

Just imagine what i found in the Ardennes with my old AT pro. Now on a cheaper but better Nokta Simplex with a Nokta Pulsdive pinpointer. But the AT loved WW2 stuff😂😂❤️

I think the results would be different if the targets were passed horizontally, across the DD coil matrix instead of the vertical passes within the coil matrix.
