The end links are male so they can incorporate the quick release system for changing bracelets/straps. The tool-less micro adjustment clasp is welcome, but I'd rather have female end links and use a spring bar tool.

Thanks for sharing . It's a nice watch but not one of the fave models in CW models . It should have come with ceramic bezel instead of metal bezel as well . i like push pins. ive never had one fall out and occasionally i get the screw that won’t cone lose without stripping the head or something. push pins are just faster and easier to size.
bezel and case finishing, really nice ... the blue plastic film on a sapphire dial...not particularly innovative or interesting to look at. Like a clear plastic hood on your sports car. i suppose just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.
It's a beautiful watch, but I hate the full Christopher Ward written out on the dial on the left of the dial. Until they change that, I'll never buy a CW
if CW would just give up with the just-out-of-art-school "designer" logo typography i would buy half of their watches immediately. (i have been eyeing three or four of them on and off. they meet most of what I like, but the logo to me feels like it will look dated in 10 years. unlike something more classic.)
I agree. The C60 Trident divers are really nice and a bargain at that price point. But that terrible logo, it's really ha d to overlook. The twin flags at the 12 position would suffice for me.
My gripe with the watch isn't the placement of the branding, but the branding itself. I don't want to wear a Christopher Ward anymore than I'd want to wear a "Billy Bob Rolex"
Blue plastic ruins the dial for me and an undecorated movement on display. I don’t think there’s much special about it really. They do have a really nice finish and make quality watches but this one’s not for me.
Hugo Vega Yes but the sapphire layer is far too thin to impart any colour, the blue you see comes from a layer of blue plastic stuck to the sapphire as Rob correctly mentions in the video. So I think the result is completely unauthentic. Only my opinion of course!
I agree. I don't really see the point of the sapphire dial with such an unremarkable movement, to look at anyway. The sapphire caseback makes even less sense to me. I'm a fan of the brand, and think the fit and finish of their pieces is great for the money, but this one isn't for me either.
Its's a treat looking watch except for the giant name on the face. Having the name Christopher Ward really does make it seem like a cheap department store purchase. If they would simply put C.W. or come up with a new, shorter name they'd have an overall better offering.

Ah Jay...would you ever just get over it??? On practically every C60 sapphire review on RUclips you have made the same comment. BUT...with CW you can return the watch for a full refund within 60 days of purchase so just send the watch back (minus your fingernails) to CW for a refund. Easy...no worries. And when I bought my first Rolex I showed them the c60 sapphire. Their reaction to the watch was priceless. I respect seiko more than CW. But this is just my opinion. Btw, I did try grating a carrot and a cucumber with the inner edge of the bezel and the crystal. I admit it was not sharp enough. Anyways I gave this watch away and took 2 used seiko which I adore. I have the Orange dial c60 Trident. The orange number dots faded so I spent a bunch of money to have them replaced. A month after I got the watch back, I noticed condensation inside the bezel. I think they should change the name on the dial, (maybe to just the CW logo), especially now Chris Ward has left the company,,
Random Rob, you pass along details on the coupon? Thanks in advance
Try 125sun20 in the promo code block when you go to check out. I tried it just now and it still worked.
I know I get all my news from TV commercials.
if CW would just give up with the just-out-of-art-school "designer" logo typography i would buy half of their watches immediately.
Nearly everyone agrees, it's madness. The twin flags is a great logo .
Why's the sapphire sticking up so much from bezel, looks terrible
Ble
I see Rolex, omega, brietling, tag tv commercial.
My gripe with the watch isn't the placement of the branding, but the branding itself. I don't want to wear a Christopher Ward anymore than I'd want to wear a "Billy Bob Rolex"
😂
I want one but I just got a watch :(
Blue plastic ruins the dial for me and an undecorated movement on display. I don’t think there’s much special about it really. They do have a really nice finish and make quality watches but this one’s not for me.
Its synthetic blue sapphire, for what its worth.
Slight over exaggeration about the branding. It’s really not that bad
@@TeaPotTommy Have you ever looked at watches in a department store? I guess it just reminds me of Montgomery Wards.
@@dr.emilschaffhausen4683 i understand what you're saying but i wouldn't say it looked cheap. i personally think iwc watches look cheap when they are most defiantly not
@@TeaPotTommy It is a nice watch, for sure. Just not a fan of the text. I do appreciate your replies.
@@dr.emilschaffhausen4683 once in a while you do get replies on youtube that arent someone being rude :)
Yes of course! After knowing the watch has sharp rough edges, why would anyone brush their fingers on the dial? And I'm sure CW will recommend using the fibre cloth to clean the grooves of the watch.) In short, you buy this watch you pay for it and you will enjoy it as long as you don't touch it and feel it. LMAO!!
Ah Jay...would you ever just get over it??? On practically every C60 sapphire review on RUclips you have made the same comment. It is a chamfered groove on the bezel...its a design statement and I cant see anything wrong with it. But okay...its not to your liking. BUT...with CW you can return the watch for a full refund within 60 days of purchase so just send the watch back (minus your fingernails) to CW for a refund. Easy...no worries. But the way you go on about it you would swear they had held you up at gunpoint and forced you to buy the watch and wear it. Give it a rest man...
@@kevintyrrell9559 damn Kevin! That was harsh! You hurt my feelings ( lol )
Just kidding, anyways. Hope you buy the watch and try returning it. I tried it, 60/60 is a joke. And I have given it a rest. Just answering to comments from people who either love CW or I suspect are working for CW.
Jay, maybe they wouldn't take it back because they watched your video, I'm pretty sure picking at it with a metal tool will void the warranty..
@@davids.2317 David, I didn't care much about returning the watch. When CW told me this is their design. I accepted it. Afterwards I was giving my honest opinion about this watch. I don't wear them but I enjoy collecting seiko divers now:))
Christopher Ward on the dial makes it look cheap. Walmart watch.
Wow this one almost gets me. The name painted full blast ruins even this one.
2nd
Rob, I would totally buy a CW if they didn't put that stupid name at the 9 o'clock. Totally ruins the dial for me. JUST KEEP THE NAME ON THE BACK FFS
Rob, $1,020 - $125 = $895
42mm looks better on your wrist
I have the Orange dial c60 Trident. The orange number dots faded so I spent a bunch of money to have them replaced. A month after I got the watch back, I noticed condensation inside the bezel. I sen tit back to them and they said they could fix it for $500. I always take perfect care of my watches, so it wasn't on me. They clearly didn't seal the watch properly when working on the face. I tossed it. Never again CW. You converted me to a TAG guy.
Unfortuantely, one of those watches where the wearer will have to tell people about the the blue sapphire. " it's a blue sapphire dial dontcherknow..." boring
I stopped the vid at 0:03; fire everyone on CWard dial design team immediately! Zero focus on dial balance!
Hideous!!!!!!!!!

I judge a watch comparing the purchase price with resale price. These CW watches take a beating during resale time. Another pass here.
