2k23's MyRise feels like it takes its inspiration from Cody Rhodes. He got an Intercontinental Run, didn't feel good about creative giving a particular gimmick to him, leaving WWE, becoming a real good wrestler, returns to WWE, and wins big.
I thought it was kinda like Drew Mcintyre because he was 'the chosen one' had an intercontinental championship run joined a faction then left got a name and has now came back through NXT
What a grand comeback for the Danger after that embarrassing defeat at the hands of the ribby dude. For some reason feels like someone is about to betray Chris.
It's cool how in the Japanese arena, the crowd mostly just claps instead of mostly cheering, which is like, ya know, how Japanese wrestling crowds are, they mostly applaude to show respect to the performers or whatever.
The in game commentary is actually so good for myrise this year. At the start of the NXT match, Michael Cole says "Well we know Noam can go in a British rules match but as far as we know, this superstar hasn't even been in one!" Gotta love the in-universe wwe ignorance just like real life 🤣🤣
I think that The New Day will be the cover stars and showcase of wwe 2k24. Would be the first tag team showcase and they definitely deserve it. Also was teased in wwe 2k23
Honestly it’ll be a lame showcase if that’s the case. New Day doesn’t have as much history, and most of their opponents they fought against are no longer with the company.
I feel like they recognized they were adding a ton of talking and cutscenes to the MyRise this year so tried to balance it with as many multiman, tag and 2/3 falls matches as possible to pad your actual in ring playing time out.
This made my Thursday morning even better!!! Love seeing denkops myrise videos, I hope after he is done with the lock, he plays the legacy storyline 💯 either or we getting great content still 🔥
Yo Tavish is the best original character in the 2k verse. I like his design reminds me of Michael Cane in the Batman movies. He's like your Alfred. Can't wait till Status unlocks the models from My Rise.

Really enjoying my rise this year the last career mode I enjoyed was 2k19 I didn’t like 2k22 my rise but this years I think they took the crown . Well done to the developers. Plus mr danger for the best my rise play through.
