Saturn delays but once he gives, it's permanent. Problem is people want everything now hence think Saturn is bad. Normally, saturn backed people are those who in initial life will be called useless but then when Saturn supports after mid 30s, people rise like rocket!! And yes, if saturn is good for you, chances are rahu will be too which is bonus in kaliyuga.

Taurus ascendant here. Saturn retrograde in 10th house in Shatbhisha being aspected by Sun in 4th and Jupiter in 6th house. I do get great opportunities and when I work towards it, success has always been mine. Touchwood!

Thanks! What if the asc/lagna degree is a venusian nakshatra like bharani, PA, or PF? If bharani then S rules 10th & 11th, PA: S rules 2nd & 3rd, and PF, S rules 6th & 7th. S in cap & sag: 1961 to 1966, 1990 to 95. My point is for these lagna and years, S may be another type of significant karaka, no? I hope my info here is all correct.

any planet ruling the 1st house is always a yogakarka...as...it rules a kendra and a trikon!
According to definition yes but technically no, 1st house is Kendra & Trikon so whatever rules it get powerful but we have to also see which other house is ruled by the same planet.
Like in case of Taurus & Libra we could have considered Venus as Yogakaraka but along with ascendant it rules dusthana houses 6th & 8th houses.
