Have been looking for something to get away from the plastic car freshners. I found a reed diffuser oil that I love the fragrance of. Will reed diffuser oils work without having to blend with another carrier oil?

I am on a project of car air freshener tags.
I have use strong colours all over the tag.
When i am spray, dipping into the fragrance , the colour print is fading & getting damages.

Augeo is the base you can also use perfumers alcohol and other base liquids. DO NOT use neat fragrance oils this is dangerous and not advised

If it is left for days to dry, won't the fragrance go away.. Can't it be packaged after applying?

I’m not familiar with lots of the craftovator oils, but most light colour or clear oils will not show it’s only the really deep coloured oils you may have an issue with if this happens you will just need to dilute them further to get a lighter shade or only brush the edges, hope this helps

Hello essential oils or fragrance oils are the best, the type you make wax melts and scented candles with, the lighter colour the better you can get many clear liquids

I've done mine this excact way but it's only smelling in the car for 2 days surly they should last longer
Hello yes they should last longer than that for sure, maybe you are not putting enough on, is your logo very large or do you have some free space in which you can brush extra solution onto? Alternatively change your carrier oil and fragrance oil and see if this makes a difference? Hope that helps
When I add the fragrance though it's leaving little oil marks, will they disappear eventually?
They should dry off if they are not deep colours, but we recommend you use clear oils rather than any tinted or coloured oils to avoid this situation

Do I need any other labels apart from 25% clps in augeo? Xx
The CLP is the only one you need, but I’d advise a safety one stating to wash hands after touching and to hang in an appropriate place to not block your view in the car etc etc

Hello you can leave to dry on a tray or some foil and as soon as they are dry to the touch you can bag them up hope this helps 👍🏻
Why do you use a base?
What is the base even for? I’ve been using fragrance & essential oils for mine without using the base… Is it really necessary?
The base makes up 75% as using neat fragrance oil is really very dangerous and not advised. Essential oils are different using these neat is fine
When putting fragrance oils on can I use the same fragrance oils for when I do my wax melts the same oils as well please x the car air fresheners
Hello yes it’s the same oils as you use for wax melts, candles etc don’t forget, these still need clp labels 👍🏻
What CLP labels do you use, I can’t find the info?
@@DeuxChatsNoirsCafe you would need the 25% FO Clp labels which is the same strength label as when you make room sprays, most suppliers would have this info available, if they do not just ask them and they will get the details to you

Yes that’s correct 👍🏻
Would it be to crazy to add the scent before printing the design?
I don’t think this would work they need to be heat pressed at 190 degrees to get the image printed so this would ruin the scent and possibly ruin the heat press and anything else you wish to press after so I wouldn’t recommend that
Sorry if I sound really stupid!🤦🏽♀️ I understand the 25:75 but how much liquid do you use? As in how much ml of base and fragrance?
Hello don’t be silly it’s fine! So it depends if your scenting 1 card or 50 cards. I usually make up 100ml bottles at a time so 25ml FO and 75ml BASE then I use it as and when they are ordered. I hope that makes sense.

@@chelsewleigh3160 so I would just maybe make up 10ml it’s quite hard to judge as it depends what space your logo is taking up if it’s a small logo or a large one. Personally I would suggest to make a small bottle up that you can store for future use. Hope that helps
What is a " clps" ?
What base do you recommend for these please? Would augeo be long lasting? Or would dpm/dgm work better. Thank you
Other bases may work well it’s a case of personal choice and trial and error on what works best for you
my boards are only lasting 2 days and scent goes , im doing 75/25 % What am i doing wrong

Hello yes it will work but I do believe with hoover discs you can fully submerge them the reason we can’t do that with these is because of the possibilities of ink running

Why the base oil? I see some just do the essential oil only thing. I am doing this project for a rescue fundraiser
If your using essential oils then no need for base, but you can’t use fragrance oils neat due to legal requirements therefore needs diluting. Hope that helps

It’s difficult to say due to many factors including if air con is used a lot, if the car is parked in direct sunlight etc etc but as a ball park we say 2-4 weeks

We say up to 4 weeks but many factors can affect them including parking in direct sunlight or using air con etc etc it’s best to do your own testing to be sure
