Wow, That's actually very impressive, one of the closest replicas i've seen so far! I'm particularly impressed by the face rig, it seems to be very flexible and appears to perfectly maintain the round shape during deformations, this can be very difficult to achieve. Would you mind giving more details about how you did the face rig? Maybe even a video about it. I also have a 3D character with a very round head that needs to maintain the shape all the time like Pomni and some tips would help a lot.
Hello, thank you for the compliments I was inspired by the Universal Sonic Mouth Tutorial by KamauKianjahe. You can find the tutorial by just searching up universal Sonic Mouth blender into Google, but long story short, it's basically having the outside of the head shrink-wrapped onto another model of the same shape with long faces connected to the mouth, allowing it to move around the face without the worry of it bumping into other vertices. I'd recommend looking up the tutorial if you want a more in-depth step by step guide to it.
@@Megalodile_Rex I just took a look at it and it's very similar to how Blender Studio made their face rigs for the Sprite Fright shortfilm, I used their technique for my character and it worked well for the most part, but this tutorial has a lot of info I didn't know, it will be very useful. Thanks a lot man!
Can you make a tutorial on stuff in this rig, like the switch from IK and FK, how to make the mouth, the eyes etc? Also you should add the eyes static thing that she has.
@@caldercockatoo2234 ok, I just want some time doing stuff with the models such as practicing animation and adjusting the models before I want to release it, hope you understand
I was inspired by the Universal Sonic Mouth Tutorial by KamauKianjahe. I have explained the tldr to another comment but I suggest looking it up on Google if you want to learn about it
This is the best Pomni fan model ever! Is there any chance of this model being released? A lot of animators would really need it "I'm just now noticing how many people have already texted you about it"
There's stuff like Rigify which is a built in add on for Blender that automatically gives you a good rig with weight paint and all. Personally I try to make the armature and weight paint myself because I feel like Rigify won't make the kind of rig I want, but for more human like models, I heard it works well.
Can't do much about it now lol, that was basically my first animation and I was kind of referencing another animation, so that could explain some of the mistakes
Dude for your first animation THATS INSANE!
I did kind of reference another one but it was mostly to just learn what to do, glad you like it though
This is so accurate, holy moly!
Thanks for the compliment
She looks so adorabz!!!
This is some impressive stuff, good work!!!!
well done Rex!
Really liked this model
Happy 1st year Anniversary and a month TADC!!!😎🎊🎪
Thank you for the compliment, can't believe it's already been over a year since it released
it looks amazing!
honestly wish someone made this model a vrchat avatar, it's really accurate and it would be pretty cool to play as it.
It would be cool, but I have no idea how to do that lol
That"s actually really good, wow. Can you do a Caine one?

Nice work buddy, I really wish my OC were a model too

Might make an explanation video eventually, and I am planning to add more stuff to the model soon too.

Can you do this with the gangle model?
Might do so eventually, kind of tackling one character per franchise rn

Yeah I assume that you already know the answer by now, I honestly didn't expect this many people asking it to be released when I first made it
Omg ik switch on a bone that's genius

eyebrowless?
Yeah, I just planned to use Grease Pencil to draw them in, it just felt easier to do and more expressive to me
