I'm impressed with this soap. All the soaps should have stuck to this 30-minute format. This is sucking me in 42 years later! I love the comedy and the light-hearted atmosphere mixed in with tension.
The mix of humor with the drama is my favorite part of this era of sft! I find Rusty to be a bit of a goofball despite being the main villain of this plotline. 😆All around entertaining. I think you mentioned liking Stephanie (the snarky blonde mother) she's another favorite of mine, too.
@@davidgalearchive Which one is Rusty? I'm still not familiar with all their names. Also the actor who played David Kimball in Young and the Restless years later is in this soap. From that live episode I got the feeling he wasn't a bad guy, but in this one he appears to be a bad guy.
@@CoopyKat Rusty is the older man speaking at 2:30! Throughout the show, his character had some humor to him in my opinion-- not sure if it's the writing, the actor bringing some quirks to the role, or both. I haven't seen Y&R but I'm sure I would have liked David Kimball since Michael Corbett is great! Although I have heard Kimball had an unsightly death. 😬
@@davidgalearchive Oh yeah that guy, I was wondering if he had just returned to the soap after a long absence or what. David Kimball did have a terrible demise, but his story was the only reason I watched the show at the time...I stopped when they killed him off. Supposedly he is coming back to the show soon...not sure if that's true but it would be interesting to see how he survived that.
I collect old footage of a lot of different actors, and made this channel so I could organize all of the David stuff from my collection in one place. :) So cool that he’s your uncle. Please enjoy them. I have more probably coming in the next few months.
Just so you people know..............this downy was the BEST Downy! it smelled SOO good! Not sure what they've done to it over the years but it's awful now.
