I really like how honest, unpretentious and straightforward you are and would really appreciate pair of Engineers boots, but to win them. How do I get a chance to win Engineers boots from you. Ladies Engineers boots. I want to put in a sheepskin footbed insole so you'll have to make a special last for me?. Please Have a contest so we can all participate.
Awesome video Brian! Does that mean that for every last shape, you have to have multiple sizes (7, 7.5, 8, 8.5 etc) left and right, and width A, B, C, D, E too? If yes, then that would be a fortune in just shoe lasts.
I just watched this. Very informative but also noticed you didn't answer most of the questions other viewers asked, kinda made me lose courage to ask mine as some of these question address my curiousity. I hope you do find the time to respond. Great sole-finishing by the way, kinda what I see first when I look at shoes... keep up the great work!
Brian, what do you think of adding a Munson-lasted boot to your line? I own a pair of Munson Iron Rangers and they are so much more comfortable than the standard IRs. It would be nice if bootmakers had more Munson models as they are one of the most versatile lasts around.
Hey Brian, love the videos. Thanks for taking the time to make these for us boot geeks. Can you do a video on toe tracks, how they are made and maybe some background history. Can they be made in different widths? Thanks, Joe
Round Electricians Steel toe waterproof brown Pull on Wellington for work. Gotta be WATERPROOF. steel mills chemical plants quarries and railyards are mudholes. Classic pointed toe black silver tip cowboy boots for Dress up Date nite and Church. Matching Leather belts for each.
Earth to Brian, Earth to Brian, come in please. We haven't seen you in a long time. Hope everybody's okay. Lately in my older age almost 60 , I have need for a tighter toe box especially in my cowboy boots or boots particularly. What would you recommend as far as making my feet feel more secure?
Narrow "X" toe for me, for sure. I have a couple pairs of boots with pointed "J" toes with just a slight rounding at the tip, but most of mine are X toe.
Great video! I already watched it 4 times and I'm sure I will watch a few more. I was curious about shoe lasts because in the cleaning video, I kinda didn't like the way your underdogs are molding at the toe (just personal preference, you know). I guess I like the work style more.
Hola amigo te saluda Esteban, soy mexicano y vivo en Perú Me gustaría aprender a hacer lo que ti haces me gusta mucho tu trabajo, quiero ir a tu taller y conocerte
What if you have fat ass feet lol i have to get either bigger size or double or triple E for the extra room, do you run across people that need that room cause those toe areas look small.
Brian. Love your work, man. I'm getting ready to order a pair of RC100 Chukkas. Which heel is on the ones in this video? Woodsman 1 7/8" or Lower stacked 1 1/2"? Thanks.
Brian, Excellent information. Thanks for taking the time to educate the public regarding important aspects of shoes. I especially liked what you did with the suede leather ankle boot. I have not seen that in suede. Most of the suede being made by other makers are dressy or very low key casual. Yours have a very special. I am a believer If you take care of your boots they can last a very long time.
There is no reason I should enjoy the video, it is about the toe box of a shoe. Yet, it was very enjoyable to watch and I learned something about style. Great job!!! Biran is an authentic and honest person. I wish you the best!
Got the inside of my leather boots wet now they smell terrible any tips to get rid of smell. They are completely dry and still smell. They are some red wing 877
If I have a specific boot and it's a little big can you take half a inch off? I'm only asking because I'm in love with these boots but I have the smallest size. And they don't make this specific boot any smaller then a size 7.
Outstanding craftsmanship, whats the process for ordering a pair of boots. do you have a catalog. Whats the timeline for delivery once an order is placed
Great video. Thanks for the details!
Hi Brian!
Definitely the 1940 and the 722 toeshapes, for confort!

Enjoyed the comparisons from boot to boot with the last's. The Chukka boot had a good change with the last.
I do use this info and I'm so glad I have found your channel!
For like a work boot, the 1940 last would definitely be my preference. For like a casual boot, I think a slimmer toe box looks better.

You have a good show Brian. Very informative. That Engineer boot looks awesome.
1940 for engineer boots and 2307 for harness boots. Personally, I don't like the tall square clunky looking toes most bootmakers have...
How did you come up with the numbers of the lasts? Birthdays or any other significance? Just wondering.
i like 722 last more on the chuka..rugged and wear with denim and other pants
I'm with ya.

Thank you! I have always wanted more information regarding lasts and how they affect design and overall style. Great video, thanks much!

The numbers & lasts are total gibberish unless you are there to fit individual foot/feet & specifications..
Great work Brian. I appreciate your videos and will contact you for some boots.
So cool, love your boots. And thanks for the great video.
In love with 1940 engineer boot. Goshdammit, why i'm not living in USA
Great work, man. Congratulations from Chile.
Great explanation of how different lasts define the shoe shape. Thank you for your video. I learned that a last can define your shoe style.
Can't wait to someday have you make some boots for me!
great video....I'm not a fan of the flat toe box. I like the round toe box with a little more wiggle room for your toes

Any style with a roomy toe box, and a more squared or rounded front instead of a pointy front i'm a fan of.
Can you do last 100 for an engineer boot?

1940🔥🔥🔥
Great to get a little bit of your knowledge, thanks for that.
RC-1940 with a wedge sole.
The 1940 all day and the 722 on the Chukka. In general the rounder the toe the better 👍🏼
J J I agree. Those silly looking flat toe boxes are so gay and feminine. Just stupid looking.
Brian thank you for sharing your craftsmanship and energy with the community brother!
Isaiah Stewart thank you for tuning in. 👍
