Jill-my husband does the same on cruises. Up too early lol. We are avid HAL cruisers. Also-thanks to your 2020 Nieuw Amsterdam cruise we found out about the Lido Cabanas (have not hit HAL since 2014-did Princess 2017) so thanks!
Right!? We're on vacation, everyone should sleep in..... Ya the cabana experience is so much fun. Our most recent video shows both types of cabanas with more details - if you haven't found it already. We are about to do the cabanas again in three weeks, onboard the Rotterdam!!

Yep - in the Rotterdam right now in our Cabana - docked at Grand Turk. We aren’t sure about that beach - it certainly looked available to tourists off the ships. COVID concerns were so high at that time that very few people ventured out to where we were. That beach might have been connected to one of the restaurants/bars nearby - so it may have required a pass. Good question - when we get home we will look into this a little more and let you know.
@@CruisingCanucks Yes, Jamaica still doesn't have a high vaccination rate ...22% I believe...just wondering if we'll get off the ship at all! I just want to get on that "Dam" ship! LOL! Did you hear the news, the Feds are dropping the mandatory pre-arrival testing requirements as of April 1st! We arrive back on April 3rd. No more stress about where to get the test after disembarkation! Woo hoo! Enjoy the rest of your cruise!
