The shadows on the dragon illusion make it look unnatural so I think that's why the illusion breaks.

My Minecraft skin itself is an optical illusion.
Step one. Load into Minecraft bedrock edition/Windows ten
Step two. Go into the skin customizer and change your eyes to "wide" (it's one white pixel on either side of a black pixel for each eye)
Step three. When in a Minecraft world with this skin put on a netherite helmet (it only works with this helmet)
Step four. Have a friend or an alt account log on so you can see the illusion, walk in front of the player with wide eyes and start moving side to side. The eyes should follow you so that it looks like it's always looking at you

Very nice optical illusions
Build a 3 wide and 4 high rectangle of black concrete. Build another beside it of white concrete, so that they are touching. Continue this sideways, alternating black and white. Build another row of these one block behind the first one, so that they extend from the top of the first row four blocks up, but offset one block to the left. Repeat again, but offset back to the right.
Build another of the whole assembly beside it with no offset between rows.
Place a line of grey carpet across the top of each row of rectangles on each assembly.
Stand back and look at the two structures from afar. The structure with the offset rows should now look like each row is wider at one end than the other.
The biggest optical illusion is making mine carts faster.
This is what I like about Minecraft, it lets you build something with the most freedom
