What if you're in a competition, and you on up only a few points and all of sudden your board break? if they do that you probably have to walk all the way across town, and probably charge ridiculous prices, no that's to realistic, and realism is killing video game thier boring.

Dude Koston has been a sell out for years. This game from what I can see already, looks like shit. Skate 2, and 3 are still the only realistic skating games out there. Koston doesn't know anything that would make a skateboard game any good. Just let EA take there sweaty ass time. So we know it will be perfect!
True skate seems to be really pushing 4k, multi platform and essentially taking the mobile version slapping better textures and calling it a console game. The movement's of the skater look really bad not fluid at all. The one trick performed in this video is a front shuv and it just looks awkward. The reason we all loved EA SKATE 1,2,3 is the mechanics got better over each game. The skaters movements, flip tricks, grinds, ollies, pushing etc got more realistic. I love that you guys heard our concerns about skate 4 and wanted to make a game for us, but I would really focus on what we loved about the skate games. Just my 2 cents
Andrew Martin the character is not even close to being done!! It's just a placeholder untill they start making the movements as natural as possible. You should seriously read their kickstarter

I did take a read and it sounds promising like all kick starters do in the backing stage. In reality they have a very long way to go to even compare to skate 3 mechanics. I hope they blow it out of the water and I'm looking forward to buying the game if so.

I think things could be as realistic as possible, with decks wearing, trucks, wheels, you know? championships, making fame, Road to pro .... open world, that kind of thing.
Skate games on the street, to get money for new pieces, skill levels ...
And the edges do not glide well without wax.

Not only that but add the cliche getting sponsored journey I personally love the tony hawks underground story mode somewhere around there update it to nowadays like getting metrogrammed to do certain tricks like dolphin flips, breaking bearings boards, filming clips and at the end of the story mode you see your video part!! For a game like this, touchscreen allows you to perform tricks much closer to real life than you would pressing buttons.
When a joystick be able to replicate control of the pop and flick power together AS THE TOUCH SCREENS does you comeback with this shit.

use skate 3s joystick controls but when u click r3 and l3 together u can catch the board so it makes it more realistic and a little bit harder and u will be able to do tre double flips and stuff like that
a feature where you upload it to an in game instagram type thing as part of a story line and then sponsors hit you up. you should be able to make the insta vids trendy as Fuck in a full edit mode also
Would be awesome to meet other online skaters and being able to talk with them directly thanks to the mic which would stay open. Every time a skater is close from you you can hear him talking. It's a great way to meet people
The only thing I can think of right now is make the pushing smoother cuz it's a little choppy other than that I'm excited af for this

I have a wishlist that I think can speak for every Skate fan.
1. Keep the joystick flick controls. Those controls were perfect except it would be more realistic if you had to use BOTH STICKS instead like Project: Session
2. More realistic body movements.
3. Online Play with friends.
4. A career mode where you work your way up from amateur skater to fully sponsored pro with buyable properties, custom shoes for your brand, and custom boards for your brand.

The perfect skate game would be like like this(this is just my opinion):
-Many different areas where you can skate
-Map 3x bigger than Skate 3 map
-Pro skaters
-Challenges
-Street and park contests
-Annoying citisens, scooter kids, bmx riders and rollerbladers that you have to scare away from your favorite spots at parks and streets
-Security guards and police cause than you have to go secretly to the areas that you are not allowed to skate and if they catch you...well then you have to escape them
-You have to accomplish missions to get more money to buy stuff and get famous
-Realistic graphics
-Sponsorships
-You can swim
-Many skateboard brands
-Many decks, trucks and wheels and other stuff like clothes and shoes
-King of the road type of contest
-X games type of contest

If this is anything like true skate on mobile it's going to be horrible you're going to have to pay to move your feet because of the DLC

Most important things:-real gravity and physics-real spots, and please include Leap of Faith without the new @&€&@ elevator-tricks always different depending on how you pop and flick-different styles (style does matter)

Spots similar to real ones are a must have. If there was a way to show real wear on the boards from slides and the skaters from falls would add the touches skaters look for.

Make the pushing more organic, so that not every push looks exactly the same. That really stood out to me in this video.
Make boards breakable and put real places like el torro
would be good idea. if the boards break like in real life and also if you get hurt. legs or foot starts to bleed. pretty much on tricks and the rest you guys got everything legit and realistic.

I think style is a really important factor in creating a realistic game. Maybe more advanced foot placement for tricks. I saw when the character was doing a front shuv on flat his foot placement was like if he were just riding with his back foot square on the tail. Maybe focus more on popping tricks off of the toes or balls of the foot to achieve a more realistic feel. And also pinch in grind tricks. In skate 3 it was very difficult to make a crooked grind of feeble grind kook good because the character was so awkwardly balanced on the ledge/rail. Just some thoughts. Love this idea and plan to purchase and enjoy this game as it comes out

skate 3 controls are perfect but there's no real spots so for this we need skate 3 controls and real spots and street league competitions a and also for it to be compatible for Xbox 360

Park Editor, Custom skaters, Pro SLS Style Career Mode, Free Skate, Games of Skate, Split Screen Multiplayer, Jam Sessions, online Multiplayer Lobbies. Those Would be things i would like to see.

Add in the landing aspect when coming out of a trick. Make it to the extent where it is possible you snap your deck if the trick isn't properly executed then have a sponsor of your choice hooking it up with a new one

Leveling system would be awesome in my opinion. Like, where you really have to practice (and level) your tricks/skater to become better. In the beginning you gotta (for example) kickflip with precision to really catch the trick good. But the more you do it and level on the trick, the less punctual your flick has to be to still land a trick. It's just an example of an idea, but you can go really wide on this idea, so it hasn't got to be exactly what I just said. Just leveling or really have some challenge would be cool I think. Also weather changes, so when it's for example wet, you really have to be carefull lol... Oh yeah also add real life spots and a lot of skateparks from over the world, as well as dew tour and street league parks again..

a mix of EA Skate controls and the system from Thrasher Skate & Destroy where you have to "unlock"/learn new tricks instead of just being able to do everything right away would be cool

Id like to see more board/gear from actual companies, the ability to really customize/personalize your character. Also I think a trick list that details how to do it after you've learned the trick would be cool, since sometimes ill do a trick in True Skate & cant really remember how I did it. Your spin feature sucks and motion is clunky and difficult to use on phones no matter what sensitivity it is on
different camera positions and first person pov are a must. we've never had a fps ( first person skater ) app and or game

I'd like it if you'd get options for example: get sponsored or start your own company, and have it to where if we go of pro we can make our own pro models, plus injuries would be cool, I'd also like it if the boards break, another thing is being able fo design your own parks, I'd also appreciate if we could have a park sharing system like in Skate 3 I'd also like to see more pros such as P-Rod, Sheckler, Nyjah, Shane O'Neil, Coston,or even people such as Chris Chann, John Hill, and we'd like to compete in real competitions such as Street League and Battle At The Berrics I know y'all aren't superhuman but a few of these would be nice

A solid version of Skate 3. On a console, real life graphics,textures,spots, people have been wanting skate 4 since 2011.. there is a HIGH ASS demand for it to come out n its growing by the day, dont fuck up or someone else will come in n make it happen : ^ )

Yessssss! I'm a 35 year old grown ass man and play the phone version of this game all the time. It's great for prolonged bathroom sessions after you had too much Korean BBQ the night before. This looks great, I'm sure it will be fun as hell.. Same as what the guy said below.. Do all the O.G spots
Skate 3 is still better than this, plus skate 4 is probably coming out within the next few years. This game needs ALOT of work if it even wants to come close to what skate 3 is, and that game was released in 2010. Good luck

We got Tony hawks shit skater 5, that was published by Activision and they got the studio Robomodo to make the game. Big publishers could have easily made a new skateboarding game by now. If you have been following Project Session you would know that it is a very difficult project for a small company like crea~ture, simply because of money..

A great feature for this would be to allow users to play games of S.K.A.T.E. with other random players that you the user doesn't have to know. Basically like they do with Words With Friends. Allow an option for the user to search for anyone else who may be playing or interested in playing S.K.A.T.E. around the world. I love playing S.K.A.T.E. in real life but i dont have other friends who play these skateboarding games. That would be such a great feature. You could even program an option where you have to play against the game, similar to the feature in Touchgrind 2.
Please make a really really good Park Editor , so users can make real life parks and upload them , you can change the skybox , you can place everything , you can choose the texture of the ground , houses , etc. Please make it happen!

of course everyone is gonna want the game to run smoothly with no glitches or bugs. I would like to see a skate game that is hard to do tricks. Skate was pretty close with this when you try and skate realistic. But always seemed the more silly you tried to skate, the easier it was to pull of tricks. Maybe a realistic setting and some way to separate online those who are trying to skate like in real life, and those just point herding. Would be awesome to play a realistic style game of skate, to where you had to try and focus on technique in all tricks, cuz even in real life after getting tricks on lock, you still need to focus and still sometimes will miss it. Either or, excited to see a new skate game finally in the works on coming out. Been way too long and i wrote off THPS about a decade ago. Thank you guys, know you have along way to go and looking to deliver a game that the fans want
boards snap, bones break, good spots and a smooth grind system, maybe add different styles , robotic / loose / grungy / tight... i wanna see shoe companies as well as board / truck companies i like skater more than true skate so i dont know if this is gunna turn out but aye if skate 4 isnt happening then this is the closest step i guess

Please add the same controls that were used in The Skate series, I believe the Right stick is the best and most realistic controls in any of the skateboarding games. And add more tricks like I wanna be able to dolphin flip or Casper flip or dragon flip.
You guys should also add skateparks like Woodward to get that feel like you want to go skate park instead of street

The joystick system like skate 3 would be great without the automatic catch, so catch when you want and you can do a wider variation of tricks... (720 flip, 720 shov, 360 double flip, etc.)

I think you should be able to customize your character like skate3 but you should also be able to custom your board, like with board rails, custom grip, another cool thing would be if you could wear down trucks and your board
you should make it so you can go into several skate stores with their own unique look and buy a cmplete and have them set it up for you
also board damage like scratches and breaking boards
Put all of the most well known skate spots in the game. You should also put big city maps such as L.A, Dubai, etc.
I think it would be cool for the characters to have realistic styles in the way they push and pop their tricks like for instance it would behave as the real professional skateboarder
For career mode it should be this. You should start from the bottom making edits and parts. Once you get a sponser you make your way up to one of the greatest skaters ever. And also as the career goes on you can have a chance to be in big competitions such as X games or street league. Once you turn pro you should be able to design your own pro model. Also it would be amazing if you could start your own brand.
When you look at this and then the new “experimental body” we got now it’s just like.... the fuck happened?
The board psychics are seperate to the skater, (Skate 1-3 were all animated) so it's alot harder

There should be a mechanic on the controller for when after you flick the board with both analog sticks you can control both legs, one analog for each leg. For late flips/shuv its and just for individual style. MAKE IT HAPPEN
include a BATB TOURNEY like in real life and make it actually challenging to land tricks
Make a replica of some of the famous local skaters in the area of the spot or park.
