Simply plug-in to the father son and Holy Spirit praying in tongues daily and let God speak and move upon you through the power of the Holy Spirit. You don’t need books you don’t need conferences. You don’t need all of that stuff. It’s all good but let God have his way with you and in you and let him revealhow he wants to use you and let him mantle you and annoy you for what he created you to be.

@JoyCardenas-t8d I read a book, prison to praise, I think, that taught me to just ask and like a child start speaking the syllables that came to mind (while focussing on the Lord not the sounds) till precious the Holy Spirit takes over! So books and conferences, getting prayer from others at church, all good things. 👍 They can be a catalyst, not a substitute, for getting in the secret place and spending time with the Lord in prayer and the Word. I took the comment to mean this 😀. The Lord also loves to work through the body of Christ, and blesses our unity, and gifts us to minister to eachother.

Yes, God can bless directly and through broke widows (ask Elijah), shepherd boys (ask David), a boy with lunchables (ask the boy who helped feed over 5,000), women (ask Apollos), ex-murderers (ask Moses and Paul), and many more. I say it's not either/or, but God uses both/and. He gifts us with apostles, prophets, evangelists, shepherds, and teachers.
And great ones help us get closer to Him. Then He sends us new people to bless and to be blessed by. Community is God's divine choice and design. Grateful He uses people, including you and me too. Blessings.
