We have been living here for ten years ..I have lived here since 20years..she ate breakfast and hour ago . She has eaten breakfast now she is not hungry...she is already eaten breakfast.we have bought three paintings so for it is possible to buy more painting..we bought three paintings yesterday.LIng has been working as a realtor from 2005-2015.ling worked as a realtor from 2005-2015.Ling has worked as a realtor since 2005 for 20years.she may continue working as a realtor..... thank you so much 👍😊❤❤
Ling has worked as a realtor since 2005 . Ling has worked as a realtor for 20 years . Ling worked as a realtor from 2005 until 2015 . Very helpful lesson. Thank you so much dear teacher Jennifer!
Hello, Jennifer.😊 I didn't know that only three verbs, live, work, and study, are interchangeable in present perfect and present perfect continuous. Good to know!Thank you for unpacking the verb tenses.😺🥳
Good evening Jennifer. I have to say sometimes the past simple and the present perfect confuse me, but I try to make the quiz. Q1: ate. Q2: She has taken breakfast for an hour. Q3: have bought. Q4: we bought three paintings yesterday. Q5: worked. Q6: Ling has worked as a realtor since 2005. I mistook the Q2. Thank you so much for another interesting lesson and I see you soon.
I have been trying to understand the present perfect for years and couldn't, It did not make a sense to me. I gave up until I watched your video and present perfect strat sounding logical to me. You are the best Jennifer! An expert! A true teacher! Thank you very much!
I am very happy, my teacher, for these videos that you publish, and I have benefited greatly from them in full English, remarkably, and praise be to God. I would like to thank you for that, and I have advice for you in particular, which I hope you accept from me: search for Islam according to its correct and reliable sources, and then if you see it as correct, I hope you will embrace that a great religion. I ask God to guide us to the right path
Thanks for this review! ❤ Because of my progress now, it's easy to answer when it's a quiz, but my real next step is to use the good one outside the quiz when I speak or understand the nuance in listening comprehension (with all contractions 😅).
Please Teach The difference between Past tense and Perfect tense , We are all confused with these both, When we use , how we use ? Teach them specifickly please ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hello🙂 thank you so much for this video - I find it very useful! I have some doubts: I've broken my arm. I broke my arm yesterday. I feel that in both examples my arm still hurts and is injured so there is a significant effect in presence. Even though "I broke my arm yesterday" it's impossible to have healthy arm today (there is impact on presence) I was at work today in the morning. I've been at work today in the morning. Is there a mistake because I've used (or I used) time reference with Present Perfect?
Hi teacher, thanks for the lesson. I have a Question. Can you explain what’s the difference between, We’ve been living here for 5 years and We’ve lived here for 5 years.
Please help ! I want to speak with fluent people or teachers , But I don’t have enough money , What Can I Do ? Can you suggest sites or somethig an help ?
@@JForrestEnglish Thank you so much, these things really mess me up. While we're here... Present perfect is used in time clause when two situations (in main and time clause) extend until the present- "have you met...since you've lived here". But:"she hasn't been able...since she broke her arm." Does that imply that her arm healed long ago but she still doesn't play tennis, and can we use present perfect there to indicate her arm still hasn't healed, but when it does she might be able to play? Thank you so much Jennifer, and just ignore me if I'm missing something obvious.
I have watched your videos because I can't take my eyes off you..when I watched your video, I was getting caught by my boss and he got angry because I was at work...lol

Thank you s much professor. Actually, we need more videos for tenses because they sound hard to understand the use of each one.
More to come! 🤩
I'd like that you create a video about gerund phrase and infinitely frases

Live , work , and study
Exactly! Remember those 3 verbs.
Is it correct to write?
She'd been working as a realtor for 10 years.
Do natives use this tense in this context?
Yes, but that means she isn't a realtor now, so the meaning changes by putting it in the past perfect.
درس عالی. من باید چندین بار ببینم تا خوبتر هضم کنم. ممنون
Thank you so much! 😊
👍
Thank you so much! 😊
So we can use “for” for present perfect and past simple alike is that true?
Great question! I'll answer that in a future lesson! 😁
