He is such a good guy. Love his designs. I like the fact he still does a deal on a handshake and turns down other offers. No need for a contract. Solid man there.
Beautiful knife. Do not have any Bradley knife yet but I will certainly buy for two reasons: very smart design and oldschool honorable handshake type of guy designer. Happy to send my money to this type of people. We need more people that think this way in the world now at days.
Hey Gale, This is a wonderful little knife, which I just love to have in my pocket. To protect it, I put it into a little leather slip cover, which I made, since I always try to take good care of my blades!!! Great Design, Thanks so much
Also more please spyderco! I would love to see interviews from makers even if their knives were not current production. A piece on the endura and delica would be cool too.
his designs are vary basic and practical, old school with a tactical forum to his knifes, and every thing is where its needed,he is truly a custom knife maker at his best.
I have had mine for half a year and don't feel like I could like without it. I bring it with me everyday to work (office setting). It's perfect for office tasks. I don't get too heavy with it but why would I? Also so glad there is no pocket clip, no hot spots and great grip contact.
Most every pocket clip is removable. Adding a clip does change the design slightly though by adding mounting holes and other cutouts usually which if the clip is removed become an eye sore.
I would personally take a wire pocket clip if it was offered but at the same time I see why there isnt one. This is a gentlemen's folder. You wouldn't want a clip showing in your pocket. And it is pretty small so if you carry slipjoints it is no problem. I only handled one for a few minutes but it rode well from what I could tell. Some of yall need to get back to the basics.
I think a pocket clip would kind of spoil the clean looks of this knife. Also, it's so small that it just makes sense to drop it in your pocket. Another point is that a gentlemans folder really wouldn't be clipped to a pocket. It's not very gentleman like to have a pocket knife showing.
Personally, I'm VERY glad that the knife does not have a clip. Clips on smaller knives seem pointless to me -- if I'm not using it for heavy work but am just about on the town, I'd rather not mess around with clips sticking out. I'm especially opposed to all the 4-way clip positions on more "beauty" pieces -- no sense in throwing all those holes everywhere.
Having a clip on a smaller knife is an easy way to lose it, IMO as they are lighter and won't have much resistance to being pulled out of pocket. Of course, there are different places one can clip (IWB, in a belt loop, etc) and low profile carry clips can help but honestly, almost every folding Spydie has a clip, so it's nice to have something different and that doesn't have holes drilled into it.

I am so happy to own such a gem. Thank you, Spyderco
Seems like a real cool guy. It's always nice to meet people who you can trust to keep their word.
Love the insight series hope to see more would love to see the valloton on here.

I like mine only problem I have with it is the late lockup out of box overall great knife and that grind......beautiful
When will we be seeing a revision of the Military model? Or we we ever see any refinements at all?
@multiloganM those knives where designed by spyderco(sal) not a outside maker

Great concept and steel choice. The cutting longevity is there if you need it. It's nice without a clip. Clips tear up your pants sometimes.

Very nice, personally I would prefer a clip...
needs a looped wire pocket clip,i would prolly not carry it without a clip
Why do most knife people have a bandaid on their index finger??? Mine always seems to nip me!!! Love bites…
and the handle looks a little thicker than it needs to be
That's how I was raised to do business. ..handshake you stand behind. Where has the integrity gone in todays world?

Nice no clip or lanyard hole. I don't need a hole and don't need a clip. Just need a pocket.

Half wanted clip half didn't. What you should have done was put a removable clip on there and pleased 100% of the people. :)
