Good show Jesse. While I did think the guest was being quite disingenuous, at times, she held her composure while under fire. That can't be said about many who are interviewed by Jesse.

At first I was interested in watching this documentary. Then the more she spoke I became very disinterested due to the fact that she was so diss honest. The more she spoke it was clear that the documentary is more or less a tool to push an agenda and less about Introducing packs and giving a true account/history of the black church. When she said that homosexuality, unwed mothers etc. were never frowned upon in the black church she was telling a bold face lie. I am not as old as Jesse, but with that being said I can recall pastors, deacons, mothers etc.’s of the black church strongly being against such acts/behaviors. They would look down on those individuals and consider their actions blasphemy. She also said the reason why they did not delve into slavery and the Arabs selling blacks was because there was not enough time and something like that would need its own documentary. The same time they took the time to discuss Mike Brown, which clearly has nothing to do with the black church nor the history of the black church. That time could have been used to point out more historical and relevant issues.
She has a way of talking like she's educating you.

I would like to know the quality and characteristics of the religious lives of the people who arrived into slavery in 1619 versus the character of their religion in 1618. Was it exactly the same and remained unchanged or was it practiced differently before they arrived... I hope some one from Jesse's camp can comment. Thank you.
