I find this man’s preaching draws my heart to worship Jesus, my faith is strengthened, and the great hope of The LordJesus Christ coming again becomes stronger as pastor Ferguson expounds the Living Word. I attend a weslyian Methodist church and we love hearing Jesus Christ The Lord being revealed and exalted through the preaching.
ALLELUIA. There's no returning to status quo semblance of western ministry after listening to Dr. Ferguson. Eyes and ears fully open and thirsty for more!❤❤❤❤❤
Christ Centred Eschatological expositions are always the most powerful. Wonderful message, such a breath of fresh air over the headaches of modern interpretations of scripture. The Lord Bless Dr Ferguson, and may the Lord keep him strong in his faith, and most importantly of all May Christ be continually lifted up by faithful ministers of His Word in such a manner as this.
I can listen to Dr. Ferguson always. In my time I have had great preachers to hear/see...M. Lloyd-Jones, Albert Martin, Iain Murray, Eric Alexander...I have been blessed!
That dear Dr Ferguson was a fantastic sermon my husband and I watched before bed how true and so comforting ; wonderful word. I could listen again anytime 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
The truth hurts sometimes but needs to be said. Keep stepping on those toes Pastor! I"m like a Berean and write down scriptures to look up everytime and study again. I love sermons full of meat in the scriptures! May the believers reading this always be like the sons or children of Issachar who discerned and understood the times and knew what to do. In Jesus's matchless name. 1 Chronicles 12:32
Oh thank you so much, Dr. Ferguson, for proclaiming a last things message that is about our King Jesus and not about us. You put forth a picture of His Coming with such beauty and power and glory. I don't know about the other hearers of this profound message but it certainly rekindled my hope in seeing our Lord and Savior in His full majesty and glory and power.
See the Judge, our nature wearing, Clothed in majesty divine! You who long for His appearing Then shall say, “This God is mine!” Gracious Savior, own me in that day for Thine!
To quote a local chuch elder, most eschatology today is just bad, because its based on dispensationalism. A 19th century aberration which has corrupted the church.
Dear pastor, you referred in your message to Christians who sit in the pews with their big Bibles(unopened)and a note pad in a negative way. Well for pastors everywhere,in all due respect, you don't give us time to get to the book, chapter and verse before you are off and running with your message. What else can we do but quickly scribble down the verse and hope we can get back to it sometim later to read it? Just a view from the other side of the pulpit. Thank you respectfully.
Perhaps that is why so very many preachers need to stop and give parishioners who are unfamilier with even just the new Testament books. The scriptures need to become so very familiar to us that if we can just pen the reference then go looking for it while he continues preaching.. I apologize if i hurt a feeling. We seem to not be in a hurry to learn.

@@Laura.da78I love Sinclair Ferguson! I haven't been to church since my spinal surgeries but I watch and listen for the Lord Jesus Christ very often. I often rewind, I have to sometimes. When I can go to church your recording app seems helpful in order to go over it again. . Thank you for writing about it. Jesus Christ is Lord
Much respect to one of my favorite preachers here, but his explanation of why "the Son doesn't know the day/hour" is weak... and smacks of forcing an explanation which doesn't fit in order to make it square with a long-held belief system...
Jesus came to judge and fulfilled the Old Covenant in AD 70 when Israel and the temple was destroyed and not one stone were left on another. See Matthew 24:34. If it were not so, then we are still under the law and should be sacrificing animals because not one jot or tittle were to pass away til ALL things be fulfilled. I believe one day the church will begin to see that the Bible is a completed and cohesive God-inspired book.
Thank you so much for making the truth of scripture so compelling!
This is no nonsense preaching. This is what we need In the churches today.
You can tell this man’s love and passion for the Lord, by the way he preaches the gospel..

I use a voice recorder app
I agree with you. Personally I wouldn’t want to miss what he’s saying, so I’d rather take brief notes and then check details later. Good point.
