I didn’t go to uni and I’m now just completing AAT L4 on an apprenticeship and hoping to secure another training contract after that to further my studies. I've just started my apprenticeship and AAT Level 2 studies and it's been a steep learning curve thus far, but I just keep reminding myself that I am new to the whole world of Accounting and business and that I will get there, day by day. Thank you for your honesty about finding it tough some days, it's good to hear the real-world view of what people actually experience during their training. Could you possibly do video on how you organise and sort your emails to keep efficient etc ?
Hi Emma. Lovely video! Are you now AATL3 qualified? Good luck for your AATL4 exams. I have just qualified L3 but not sure I could possibly do business tax at this point in time without an accountant to answer to. I guess you have Tom ? Do you use team and client collaboration software such as Slack and document capture software in the practice ? Do you have bookkeepers doing data entry answerable to yourself or do you do all of that? Do you use something like Dext ? Be great to know what apps you use in the practice.
