  • This run features a new pacilow Hundun strat where Hundun fireballs a rock into himself. You can skip to 19:30 if you just want to see the Hundun kill. Essentially, you whip the rock at just the right time so that Hundun also fires a fireball that hits the rock and bounces it into his head, dealing the last hit to him and removing your ownership from the rock. When I realized that this strat was Low% viable, I decided to give Pacifist Low% Cosmic Ocean a shot. I only really did this to get an entry into Cosmic Ocean and I will probably not try to improve this any further. I died on 7-8 because of UFO hitboxes that I misinterpreted and because I was nervous. Previously, the only viable pacilow Hundun strats were 1. Bringing a HH and using him to drop something onto Hundun, 2. Bringing a HH with a poison arrow into 7-4, 3. Utilizing some ownership shenanigans (most likely fall damage) to kill Hundun while stunned, or 4. Simply get a lucky poison arrow on 7-4 (ideally near the top of the level). As you can see, none of the 4 strategies are necessarily great because they either involve using HH, stunned ownership shenanigans, or luck.

I noticed that you said the rock Hundun strat is Low% viable. How about the poisoned arrow strat, was that not Low% viable? Or was it just too slow?

Poisoned arrow strat is Low% viable, but not so much in the context of CO. In CO, you would either need to get a lucky poison arrow spawn in 7-4 or have a HH bring one in. Getting both the bow and the poison arrow to the top of 7-4 is not very easy, unless the arrow spawns very close to the top. Getting a rock or chest is much more viable because they are more likely to spawn and you can just pick one that is close to the top. It's also worth mentioning that you could use the bow instead of the rock, but you would have to get it back from the bottom of the floor.
