    It’s nice that you take the time to make informative videos. It’s not something I am normally interested in but it may be for someone else! People seem to be critical of you doing the testing videos but it is your channel and your right to record what you want. I know you do not get paid to test these things but you always have given a fair review, if something isn’t right you say so, you don’t sugar coat it. If you only showed constructive videos or wood spitting videos you would hear complaints about only making those! You can’t please everybody but if it helps just one person you feel good, if they don’t like what you are showing they can skip it and go find something else to watch, and complain about!!! Have a great weekend and hope to see you Sunday night!😊😊😊Also I have heard you mention that you are given things to try for free, guess some just aren’t listening!😊

    This was a very informative review. I learned some new points. I'm new to this stuff and just bought the 200max and one extra b230 battery. I haven't really tried it out yet because I want to learn more about it from watching reviews. As for the cable on the side I just turned it into a pretzel Loop so now it doesn't stick out on the side so much. I emailed a photo to the company and they said it's all right to twist the cable like that so it doesn't stick out. This is only for an emergency in an apartment so I don't use it all as a matter of fact I haven't really tried it out yet. When I first got it I tried to do the firmware upgrade. It didn't work at first and it bricked the unit. After about 15 tries it finally upgraded. As you said the world is going crazy and you never know what's around the corner next. I am a retired Carpenter, would have been nice if we had these in the old days compared to those noisy generators. Going to check out some of your other videos, cheers from Canada.

    Awesome review, really like the format and content of these videos. I recently purchased an AC200Max myself and am looking at getting the expansion batteries further down the line. I was wondering if you able to charge both the ac200max and B230 at the same time from two different AC power bricks whilst they are connected together or are you limited to the single 500w input if they are connected?

    • @TKCL
      @TKCL  Год назад +1

      @liamdrew7548 Год назад

      @@TKCL thanks for the reply man, appreciate you taking the time to respond 👍 I could disconnect the cable between the two but the background behind my question was that I'm in the UK and I'm using the ac200max as a home power system as the electricity tariff I'm on is cheaper during the night than the day. (Usually between 02:00 and 05:00, you can even be paid to use energy during the night) So the more input during the night the more energy I can store. (I also have about 1.2kw of solar during the day) The charging during the night is on a timer so it would be a bit of a pain to have to move things around each night.

    Edit: Not first :(
    For long term review I'd like to hear if they finally enabled it to automatically turn back on when solar power returns if it died overnight. It's the problem I have with my AC200P and why I use it as a tool device and not to run my shed, because it won't automatically restore function.

    Good review.
    I’m guessing that with two back up batteries, particularly the B300’s stacked on top of each other, the cables that join up to the main unit will need to be quite long.
    For the closest battery, you may be able to loop the cable to be less intrusive.
    Perhaps Bluetti might consider offering optional shorter cables for single back up battery kits.
    I’m seriously considering this combo, along with their 350w solar panel for weekending away.

Long story short, you should technically be able to charge these everyday for the 10 year life expectancy of lithium batteries.

    I agree that the cable provided to connect the two units is not optimal. The cable connecting the extra battery can be resolved easily. All the company has to do is create a new cable with flat 90% plugs on both ends of the cable and the length between the main unit and the expanded battery. That distance would be the same on all units. That "flat" cable connector could be an option. No major rework of any of the physical parts of the units.

    andrew. AC200MAX can work with 2 x B300 batteries. Those are 3072 watts each. But IMPORTANTLY understand each B300 has two Solar input ports. One port accepts 500w solar from Bluetti D050S device. The other port can accept 200w Solar Direct via XT60 connector. I actually have 3 x newpowa 220w panels feeding one D050s attached to one of my B300.
    Heres what can be done with one AC200MAX with two B300 batteries + 2 D050S.
    900w + 500w + 200w + 500w + 200w
    THATs 2300w SOLAR accepted

    Brother A lot of these Bluetti 200max gens have reversed polarity in the 30amp plug. Can you show a fix on here? Mine is one that was shipped with the 30amp having reversed polarity. There was an electrical engineer on youtube that showed how to fix it step by step and then a couple months later the video was removed before I could take my bluetti apart to fix it. Bluetti did admit like a year later that it was reversed and that it wasnt really a issue and even some Engineers said it was fine but others said not so much. Bluetti said you could send it in at no cost and they would fix it, but it may take months to get your generator back. They said opening the case would not void the warranty when fixing this. They said you could have an electeician fix it for you if you want. I was wondering if you still had it could you make a video showing a fix.

      That's the first I have heard of this, in theory AC swaps polarity 60 times a second so you won't notice this. But in order to swap over, there is most likely a wire that feeds all neutral plugs off of the inverter that would need to be swapped over to the hot feed for the plugs. I can't say how this would be accomplished without tearing a unit open and seeing the wiring.

    Bluetti has been a huge disappointment to me personally. I bought a AC200 MAX, and straight from the box, it won't charge using the AC adapter. I called the company and told them my issue and was told I needed a new charger and they would send a new one. I never got it. My entire summer travel schedule has been put on hold due to Bluetti's incompetence. I'm returning my unit to the seller. I'm done with Bluetti, and Jackery has gained a new customer!

Hard to spend that amount on something that you are not certain will be fixed if you run into an issue. Just try calling their phone number.
