- First Corinthians 10:31 calls us to make sure that whatever we do, we do it to the glory of God. We are called to serve Christ and to stand firm for Christ in every area of life-at home, in the workplace, in recreation, and everywhere else. Harry Reeder was my pastor when he was at Christ Covenant Church. He was an faithful shepherd of the flocks God gave him. He taught us to study God’s Word exegetically. I just found out that he passed into glory two months ago on May 18, 2023. I came here to listen to him one more time. What an amazing man of God. I will miss him.

Dr. Reeder is definitely in the RC Sproul camp with respect to his eschatology, which is an interesting contrast to the likes of John MacArthur. Pastor John's exposition through prophetic scripture rings more true to me. Glad Ligonier is open to contrary opinions.

put your mind on God as your very thoughts are judged...how can you be Holy if your thoughts are corrupted!.?
Psalm 147:5 - God knows everything.
Titus 1:2 - God is not bound by time.
Romans 3:11 Humans are not righteous.
John 10:30 Jesus is God.
John 3:16 Jesus died for our sins.
Psalm 145:17 Jesus is righteous.
Jeremiah 23:24 We can't hide our thoughts from God.
Romans 8:1 Christians are not condemned.
James 1:5 God is ready to give extra wisdom for free.
Jesus already knows every thought you will have. He knew it before He volunteered to be put on the cross. Whenever you sin, just pray, repent, and move on with your life. God does not want us to have a pity party over our sin, it is a waste of our time. Spend that time obeying God.

You say you can tell the signs of the times, but miss his visitation. Pray that our flight will not take place in winter or on the sabbath. Ask the Father if his teachings were spoken through Jesus? Then turn to Jesus and abide in Him. Blessed is he who does not stand in the counsel of men, but delights in the word of the Lord. No one can come to the Father, but by Jesus, and no one can come to Jesus unless the Father enables him. John 6:65 The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify that what it does is evil. They say the Bible is a book of faith, and I have heard it said faith is a collection of the choices we make. Choose to do God’s will.
