I began to study A Course in Miracles in 2004. I struggled to learn it without resistance but after attending Ken Wapnick Academy realised I had not understood what I was reading. His and Gary Renard's books and RUclips videos have made significant improvement in my awareness of Loves Presence (the goal of this mind training. We left Heaven as One and will return as One. I need do nothing on my own (daily putting Holy Spirit in charge of all my decisions. I am safe and free from suffering forever content to be wherever He Wishes. Amen

I love A Course In Miracles. Studying it and practicing the lessons on a daily basis has brought me peace and joy. I found ACIM at a very low point in my life in 1991. My whole world was upside-down and I asked God to help me because I could not find a way on my own towards the peaceful answers that I needed to go on. A friend had a copy of the Course and loaned it to me. I started to read it and I began to feel a small amount of the peace that I had prayed for. I took the book back to him and bought my own copy that day. I have had some bumps and major life changes along the way especially when I refused to listen to the Holy Spirit or when I missed practicing my lessons. But I have never really stopped practicing the lessons or attending ACIM groups. I have always been drawn back to my pathway. ACIM is not for everyone because there are many other pathways towards Home and God. This one is mine.

I have experienced miracles many times in my life. I am grateful for the blessings and opportunities that have been provided to me. I am no longer a Christian or maybe the moment I became one I dropped the label. Take care everyone I am happy to find other people who like me who enjoy spiritual materials.
I wanted to go to school to be a pastor and God told me "NO" I will teach you. Many people told me it was not God that told me that but as my wife and I want to be closer and closer to the spirit I now understand why. I studied the Bible daily and studied my way out of biblical belief. I don't know if this makes sense but from the sound of your comment I'm pretty sure you will understand. I heard a voice tell me the Bible is like training wheels. Even with the contradictions and errors I finally came to realize in the Bible He will still use it because people believe so heavily that its his word that for some people it's all they hold onto as in who God is. So delighted to come to realise that the ACIM is Advaita Vedanta in a Western world view coat. More and more I see their similarities. I listen a lot to Swami Sarvapryananda a Vedantist from the Ramakrishna lineage. Ramakrishna studied all the great religions and saw them all equal in their goal. I’m so sorry for your loneliness. We all feel that isolation. What keeps me going is to remember we are here temporarily and then we go home when it’s our time. I don’t take life seriously and shrugged it off when people use or intentionally say hurtful comments. Keep your chin up and try to see beauty where you can
I understand those feelings of being incomplete, but am happy I finally experienced "true" love in my late 30s, although they passed away. I hope you are able to experience the fulfillment of your desire. The experience is a teacher and guide.
me too on and off for 40+ years when it first came out ... I always come back to it after many other practices and when Eckhart loves it, I know that all these years I was on the right track even though I did never complete the workbook. I can just look at the book and feel better but I regret I find it hard to stick with it day in and day out.
@@theresamcgallicher Thanx ... well of course, its like saying put your keys where you will remember them, but I can go unconscious for days and forget to do the workbook or not find my missing keys. I have twice hand written the entire lessons on beautiful paper to take with me each day a new one, and it hasn't helped except to appreciate that I do consider this my path. I did co-lead a year support group in a ministerial program about 15 years ago that I was in and I think I did complete it with the other attendees, but it does not come very natural to my style, I do so many art projects I get sidetracked. Luckily ACIM is a living being of sorts and can impart much comfort and guidance in whatever way works. I have been listening to David Hoffmeister for nearly a year now all night every night and that keeps it alive. But I agree with you, and I keep intending but have learned to accept my approach.

Innocence is wisdom because it is unaware of evil, and evil does not exist. It is however, perfectly aware of everything that is true. Nothing can destroy truth. Good can withstand any form of evil, as light abolishes forms of darkness. This is the perfect lesson. If you can accept this one generalization now, there will be no need to learn from many smaller lessons. You are released, if you believe this. 🙏

This is one of the best books ever written. I've owned a copy for maybe 10 years now on my Kindle. I have to say, though, this audio reading of the Course is really superb and makes the concepts clearer. Also, the book The Disappearance of the Universe by Gary Renard is a great companion piece to this book. It explains a lot of the context and is an amazingly funny and deep book. It's awesome knowing what Jesus was really saying way back when he was not allowed to speak such thoughts. I have a feeling it will catch on more and more in the next few centuries to help us all get home.

Today's W:L: 79, "Let me recognize the problem so it can be solved", was made clear for me when I turned to T:6:I: "The message of the crucifixion". In the Workbook we are instructed to ask what the problem is as then ask what the answer is. I follow the lessons according to the calendar and cover 1 section of text and this is not the first time the text makes the lesson clearer Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I teeter totter between discernment and forgiveness and how to synchronize them, if even relevant. It's easy to be up above it and forgive, but to relate in the real world I find myself singing, " wouldn't it be nice .."

I was never interested in spirituality. On February 11, 2005, while driving my 18-wheeler (truck), I was hit with the cosmic 2x4. I GOT THE COSMIC JOKE! My perception of reality completely shifted. I recently picked up A Course In Miracles, and here, what the writing is pointing to is what I've been attempting to share with family and friends for the last 19 years! The Cosmic Joke is that we never left the Garden of Eden!
Bookmark 2:37:45 " The abilities you now possess are only shadows of your real strength. All of your present functions are divided and open to question and doubt. This is because you are not certain how you will use them and are therefore incapable of knowledge. You are also incapable of knowledge because you can still perceive lovelesly. " // 2:31:11 "To know is to be certain. Uncertainty means that you do not know. Knowledge is power because it is certain and certainty is strength. Perception is temporary, as an attribute of the belief in space and time, it is subject to either fear of love. I began to study A Course in Miracles in 2004. I struggled to learn it without resistance but after attending Ken Wapnick Academy realised I had not understood what I was reading. His and Gary Renard's books and RUclips videos have made significant improvement in my awareness of Loves Presence (the goal of this mind training. We left Heaven as One and will return as One. I need do nothing on my own (daily putting Holy Spirit in charge of all my decisions. I am safe and free from suffering forever content to be wherever He Wishes. Amen

I love A Course In Miracles. Studying it and practicing the lessons on a daily basis has brought me peace and joy. I found ACIM at a very low point in my life in 1991. My whole world was upside-down and I asked God to help me because I could not find a way on my own towards the peaceful answers that I needed to go on. A friend had a copy of the Course and loaned it to me. I started to read it and I began to feel a small amount of the peace that I had prayed for. I took the book back to him and bought my own copy that day. I have had some bumps and major life changes along the way especially when I refused to listen to the Holy Spirit or when I missed practicing my lessons. But I have never really stopped practicing the lessons or attending ACIM groups. I have always been drawn back to my pathway. ACIM is not for everyone because there are many other pathways towards Home and God. This one is mine.

I have experienced miracles many times in my life. I am grateful for the blessings and opportunities that have been provided to me. I am no longer a Christian or maybe the moment I became one I dropped the label. Take care everyone I am happy to find other people who like me who enjoy spiritual materials.

Yes i went out from catholic churchs and others systems religious also. But i suffer too much pression by my family and Brasil hipocrity society!
I wanted to go to school to be a pastor and God told me "NO" I will teach you. Many people told me it was not God that told me that but as my wife and I want to be closer and closer to the spirit I now understand why. I studied the Bible daily and studied my way out of biblical belief. I don't know if this makes sense but from the sound of your comment I'm pretty sure you will understand. I heard a voice tell me the Bible is like training wheels. Even with the contradictions and errors I finally came to realize in the Bible He will still use it because people believe so heavily that its his word that for some people it's all they hold onto as in who God is. Sorry I'm rambling I just read your comment and it hit me as what my wife and I have been through big time. Blessings

So delighted to come to realise that the ACIM is Advaita Vedanta in a Western world view coat. More and more I see their similarities. I listen a lot to Swami Sarvapryananda a Vedantist from the Ramakrishna lineage. Ramakrishna studied all the great religions and saw them all equal in their goal.
So great to realise the Course is actually a thousands of years old teaching. Jesus is considered an avatar in the Advaita Vedantic teachings! Aum shanti shanti shanti peace peace peace

I understand those feelings of being incomplete, but am happy I finally experienced "true" love in my late 30s, although they passed away. I hope you are able to experience the fulfillment of your desire. The experience is a teacher and guide.

I have reading ACIm for 12 years and it still blows my mind away. It is always fresh
me too on and off for 40+ years when it first came out ... I always come back to it after many other practices and when Eckhart loves it, I know that all these years I was on the right track even though I did never complete the workbook. I can just look at the book and feel better but I regret I find it hard to stick with it day in and day out.

@@theresamcgallicher Thanx ... well of course, its like saying put your keys where you will remember them, but I can go unconscious for days and forget to do the workbook or not find my missing keys. I have twice hand written the entire lessons on beautiful paper to take with me each day a new one, and it hasn't helped except to appreciate that I do consider this my path. I did co-lead a year support group in a ministerial program about 15 years ago that I was in and I think I did complete it with the other attendees, but it does not come very natural to my style, I do so many art projects I get sidetracked. Luckily ACIM is a living being of sorts and can impart much comfort and guidance in whatever way works. I have been listening to David Hoffmeister for nearly a year now all night every night and that keeps it alive. But I agree with you, and I keep intending but have learned to accept my approach.

This is one of the best books ever written. I've owned a copy for maybe 10 years now on my Kindle. I have to say, though, this audio reading of the Course is really superb and makes the concepts clearer. Also, the book The Disappearance of the Universe by Gary Renard is a great companion piece to this book. It explains a lot of the context and is an amazingly funny and deep book. It's awesome knowing what Jesus was really saying way back when he was not allowed to speak such thoughts. I have a feeling it will catch on more and more in the next few centuries to help us all get home.

The instructions are clear and simple and it is easy to understand, somewhat. Thanks for keeping this gem available. Today's W:L: 79, "Let me recognize the problem so it can be solved", was made clear for me when I turned to T:6:I: "The message of the crucifixion". In the Workbook we are instructed to ask what the problem is as then ask what the answer is. I follow the lessons according to the calendar and cover 1 section of text and this is not the first time the text makes the lesson clearer

I teeter totter between discernment and forgiveness and how to synchronize them, if even relevant. It's easy to be up above it and forgive, but to relate in the real world I find myself singing, " wouldn't it be nice .."

I was never interested in spirituality. On February 11, 2005, while driving my 18-wheeler (truck), I was hit with the cosmic 2x4. I GOT THE COSMIC JOKE! My perception of reality completely shifted. I recently picked up A Course In Miracles, and here, what the writing is pointing to is what I've been attempting to share with family and friends for the last 19 years! The Cosmic Joke is that we never left the Garden of Eden!
