I gotta say that I have loved this song since I was a teenager. Now Im 51 . This song really hits different now. Before I saw it as an aspiration now I see it as a depiction of my life up to this moment. This song will be played at my funeral.

Smoothest voice, most wonderful tone/voice control especially when he ramps up the volume - still clear tones/voice. Always enjoy listening to "ole Blue Eyes"/"Chairman of The Board". Enjoyed your reaction to the greatest male voice of all time.
His genius was in his interpretation. There were smoother voices (Mel Torme, Vic Damone, Perry Como and Jack Jones among them), but few had the interpretation skills and delivered the story and feelings in the song like Sinatra.
Emma, As a Frank Sinatra fanatic I am so pleased that you are reacting to The Greatest Interpretive musician of the 20th Century. I had the pleasure of attending 85 of his performances including being the audience at the Madison Square Garden. He was magical. I am now a fanatic about Angelina Jordan. I have seen her 3 times and got to spend time with Angelina and her mother (Sara) after all three. She is the best.

IMHO, the most masculine song ever written. He was at the perfect age in that performance. Able to look back, sing it, and mean it. Great performance; great song.
This was one of my moms favorite artist. The end of the Big Band era. I really enjoy his song That’s Life.

From the 40s to the 90s he did it his way with that amazing voice. He was my mother's favorite singer and heartthrob and my 2 favorite Christmas albums are his. Wonderful reaction to one of our greatest entertainers.

This performance is in the Autumn of his years. Nobody could sing a story better than The Chairman. There are a handful of voices that compete, but nobody crooned with blue eyed clarity like him.
