@@ryandavis8658 He didn't have the skill it took to deal with Tito Ortiz, but Frank did! Frank kicked Tito's ass. However...Frank couldn't beat Bas Rutten, and Ken defeated him. Who knows! I wish we could have seen them fight.
Dude died and they still let him fight
Guy died twice mid fight and they let him continue!
Death is nothing compared to a broken ankle!!
tylor Franks
They are Japanese. Over dramatics anyway
You do know the difference between death and unconsciousness, right?
@@jeffreybonanno8982 Hey Jeff im sarcasm, i dont believe we've met!
I'm kind of new at this not sure what I'm doing but it certainly appears that a guy could really really troll if he wanted to huh ? Im just guessing but am I correct. Is that how that works. Any who. Who would want to get the ring with this guy when he like fourth or fifth generation Wow. not me !!!
What a crazy squeeze. 8:28 although the hold is broken, he's practically unconscious. For a time, when no one knew anything, Ken literally was the most dangerous man in the world.
Yeah, because nobody knew anything about fighting until about ten years ago.
To anyone else that was confused about Ken Shamrock getting the cards, it was due to the rules of Pancrase. If you can manage a robe break to get away from a submission, they take a point away from you. If there is no KO or TKO, the man with the most points win. Ken didn't honor the break when the ref called it.
THANK YOU!! lol I just paused this to check Comments to see if someone had answered that VERY question I had. I saw that and was like WTF!!, why in the hell was he carded I was seriously dumbfounded lol. So ty :D
@@monsieurmichelg5305 They have the Pancrase rules in the game Virtua Pro Wrestling 2, which also included some NJPW and AJPW content as well. Man I loved that game because you could play with the Pancrase rule-set that included the point system, rope breaks, and the yellow and red cards. I really wish we had more games that contained that ruleset and some of the legends of Pancrase.
I miss how old UFC fighters showed actual respect for each other...
Shamrock was the beast! ❤
RUTTEN
Ken shamrock was...Wayne shamrock though..hahahhahahshshhaha
Clearly Ken has an identical twin brother.
Clearly a clone
How many times do you have to beat the shit out of guy over there before he has lost?! DANM
Thank you...i was so confused at first
Wayne is Ken Shamrock middle name ..
@@sealteam608 I thought it was Mr sexy pants
It would be great to see a match between Wayne Shamrock and Ken Shamrock, both in their prime... they both have the same style, same build, face and legs... would be great!
Genetically they are practically indistinguishable! Practically.....sensibly, actually, literally, totally, and indeed, one and the same individual representations of what could be described as adjective, verbal nouns. As a matter of fact, in that sense, they happen to both be precisely a single, identical fleshy bag of mostly water. Fizzing away in space/time!
I know people watch this now and see how far fighting has come. And that modern guys are just far better. But it was guys like shamrock who were willing to actually fight people in a ring without knowing what the opponent is gonna be trained in. Took a lot of guts man.
It’s like Yoshiki is fighting for his life and Ken is just calm, and collective.
What a quite crowd. I don’t think anyone ever beat Wayne Shamrock ☘️?
Royce
@@ahmedalwaisy You are thinking of Ken Shamrock. This is Wayne Shamrock: I think they might be twins.
@@the_mowron His name is Kenneth Wayne Shamrock. Look it up.
@@the_mowron that looks exactly like Ken to me. 👀
It's Ken Shamrock his second Name is Wayne and He has 17 losses
Офигенный поединок, мужики, я в табурет вжался! Зачет.
Didn’t know Jackie Chan used to be a ref
HOLY FUCK!!! That's hilarious!!!
Lol
Hahaha
Yes that's him.
Side job?
Shamrock beat the guy 4 or 5 times in under 14mins. Those other wins need to be added to his record. Man Japan has some screwed up rules lol
These are Pancrase rules.
@Nolan Beatrolyn wtf you talking about you arrogant brainwashed fucktard? Shamrock beat his ass more than once in this fight.
The rules are, there are no rules.
Also the asain guy can't lose.
@some boby no Stan Hansen ,Vader, DR Death and Hogan almost never lost in pro wrasslin they worship American monsters. Fedor, Coleman, Taktarov, Kerr, Randleman, Cro Cop + all the Brazillians almost never lost in pride and were revered by the Japanese fans. So if they hate it , they must hate themselves because the whole combat sports business in Japan revovles around non Japanese beating them ..all the time,
Japan despite it's greatness as a country has a very insecure culture. They have this "saving face" thing which they prioritize over the lives of their children.
Primera ves que veo una lucha donde se escucha asta el suspiro de la gente.
Shamrock is just a beast! Completely calm and in control!
That last heel hook tore my ACL
Never heard of Wayne before. This is awesome.
I swear this fight is more entertaining than a typical wwe matches.
The strikes sound brutal when the crowd is that quiet.
What a hell of a fight. Shamrock was a very powerful man and at the top of his game unbeatable. A true Stallion.
Ken was a great fighter but he never achieved or reached his potential inside the cage . He came up short quite a few times

Ken, Frank, and Wayne the Oldest this was his only MMA fight he went on to be a dancer believe he won dancing with the stars....
Rob Adonis rocky I dont think you know enough about martial arts; the name Wayne is of english origin and is defined as “maker of wagons”. Idiot.
hhhk20 that was the best you could do was grammatical you sir are a douche
Fuck coronawuhan
The end is near, for you.
Jesus Christ! I've been a Ken Shamrock fan since seeing UFC 1 on a VHS rental tape in 1995-1996. And I loved his performance here. I gotta check more of these Pancrase fights of his. Also, much respect to Bas R.
This was a great match. Nice how they brought in Jackie Chan to ref too.
Dude. He actually looks like him.
Wait a minute is that legit Jackie Chan
Vinny Booboo you resemble an asshole
Is that him... I was thinking the exact same thing!!!?
@@MMA_Ruskie and one that's full of shit too. 🤣
after sizing up his opponent, you can see the face of Ken so relaxed. Even though he know he has 2 opponents in that ring
KEN SHAMROCKES IS ON STEROPIDES!
You mean Wayne 🤣😂
This is actually one of the most beautiful fights I’ve ever seen.
Don’t say it like that
@@negritotenfold what do u want me to say
Holy shit, I really enjoyed that. The obvious rules made it very strategic and fun to watch. Really nice and looked very hard...
Almost 26 years later and that heel hook hurt me just watching it.
you hear!
I think a broken ankle/destroyed knee is just as painiful now as it is 26 years ago. Evolution probably doesn't work how you think.
@@Montrovantis Congratulations! You won the stupid comment award for the day.
My favourite wrestling match and my favourite fight
One fight, several wins for shamrock. Crazy times
Shamrock won at least 5 different times. He started getting pissed and then put the wammy on green boots. And the silence was way awkward Haha.
Tommy Vines bro I’m Japanese and that shit pissed me tf off these bs ass refs trying to keep things “competitive” by not letting the American submit this Japanese guy. Honestly Asians are dominated by White, Black, and Latino fighters on a regular basis.
yeah except Pancrase was a work and there is a winner chosen before the fight
Parabéns que luta muito técnica nunca tinha visto..
You know someone's a legend when he has lot's of names.
14:35 *did Ken break that ankle???*
BRO YES! Like why the hell is no one talking about that brutal ass leg break!
OMG 😳 brutal!!!
Looks like it
Ken could be a dick like that, he hurt many fighters back when they turned from worked fights to real matches in pancrase.
Probably tore the guys ACL it puts a lot of torque on the knee
Independente de quem vença ou perca, só em subir no ringue já é muita coragem

Good fight, the Japanese guy just wouldn't stop no matter what, like a pit bull
like an idiot is more like it but yes good fight
Rice and tren
He lost like 5 times but the ref and judges were one sided and only wanted their own to get back
Who is Wayne Shamrock?? oh....KEN
oo
Is ken named Wayne also?
RICH Sanchez
No seriously. That's ken right?
Looked it up. Wayne shamrock is name ken uses in Japan.
It sounds better than Rusty Shackleford.
Это было нечто. На последних минутах вырвал себе победу! Молодец!✊✊✊
Эх
что-то мне подсказывает, что Шемрок просто весь бой работал не во всю силу) дал возможность публике посмотреть схватку)
10:29 who farted 😒😂😂
Now your comment had me laughing so hard
Heard it too lmao
DARYL HINES
I don’t know but they should have gotten a yellow card for that for sure
Shamrock got penalized for the choke after the opponent put his foot on the rope to escape. Pancras used some pro wrestling rules: rope breaks, no punching the face. Each fighter had 5 points. Get knocked down, lose a point, grab the rope, lose a point.
Gotchism 4Life open hand strikes to the face
Definietly more sport fighting than ufc pseudo sport.
If modern day pro wrestling was like this, I’d still be watching it. Good fight!
Not all pro wrestling can do real fight like this only small amount of them in WWE and AEW, but most from Japan like NJPW has real fight and pure Athlete
Shammy
has to fight his opponent and he has to fight himself, being somewhat careful he doesn’t kill the other guy.
