Fantastic job. You should have way more subscribers. This also makes me realize Tableau should have a much easier solution for creating these donut charts. Ha.
That was great!! . Could you please make a quick video explaining the functionality of LODs and their use cases in tableau. That would be really helpful to us.
@@AnthonySmoak really helps me out. I am teaching myself tableau so I can generate reports for the data that we sell at Marketcheck. If you ever wanted to make some reports like this, I could send you some data samples that are really valuable to the car industry. Maybe you would be interested in working with us? I will DM you with my email.
This makes me really miss Power BI lol. Somethings I love about Tableau, but it does a really good job at making the simplest task extremely confusing.
Hi Anthony your videos are great... I'm new to tableau and I'm working on to show last 12 months as spark lines and current month as bar chart in the single worksheet... Can you please help me how to show these two? Thanks in advance!
Thanks for your nice and neat illustration. Can i put the percentage of west or north below it ??? how can i do that.. Or you recommend to do that as a separate dashboard ? thanks Anthony
Awesome video! Just one quick question. I was trying the same method as you. And I don't know why but when I put the donut charts into the dashboard, it doesn't act as a filter. Any idea why that happened?
Awesome video. I have a question, Why does tableau "Zoom In" when I select a state from state filter? How to avoid zooming in of particular state if I want to see just a selected state in whole Country map?
I have got clear guidance from this video how to create a donut chart which I struggled a lot previously. Thank you.
Glad you found the video useful!
best video for doughnut charts. I looked many videos of doughnut charts but I couldn't make one. This video helped me made the chart.

Much appreciated!

Thanks, and I agree. Think of the non-intuitive nature of some Tableau charts as job security :)
Absolutely awesome presentation. Thank you so much, Anthony.

Extremely helpful thanks a lot!
This makes me really miss Power BI lol. Somethings I love about Tableau, but it does a really good job at making the simplest task extremely confusing.
Both tools have their strengths, but I agree that donut charts are much simpler in Power BI.
I agree. With Tableau, you have to trick it to do things that you want.
Subscribed..good info sir.
Thank you!

Thansk for this video. Very interesting.
Really good video!

It's not properly visible! can you keep another video? and ur way of explanation is good
Suppose that I have two categories and I create two pie charts using the way you did. How can I add a third one with the total?
Can you please share that workbook

I think you have to de-select the pin icon on the graph
Plzz provide the data set which you used in this
Google "Tableau Superstore sales data".
is it dashboard actions are used in this video....??
No dashboard actions are used in this example.
can I get this file?
Do a google search for "Superstore Sales dataset" as it is publically available.
Anthony thank you for taking the time to make clear concise video contents, this is very helpful.
