Kind of a shame what happened to this game. Looked so promising back in the day but then just universally bad development decisions and script kiddies got a hold of it and now it's barely worth playing... I really wanted to like the game too, just like Pavlov before they burned the modding scene.
To be fair Arena made it a lot easier to learn pvp. You can spam free for all and learn to headshot way quicker. My skill in this game as increased dramatically over the last week
this is exactly why my friend got himself a cheat menu in GTA V. each lobby we loaded into, he'd put something on the rest of us that prevented any insta-kill, disconnection, etc because of the damn hackers. He also had something he could spam on said cheaters to overload their client, forcing their game to close lmao
This game has gotten so damn terrible and any good part about the cheaters just ruin, wipes make progression pointless, balance is terrible and after all the money bsg has made you'd think they would have the fucking game finished at this point, the only reason i feel people still play this game is either Stockholm syndrome or they somehow want to try to believe that this game is going to be finished and have a lack of cheaters (spoiler alert it's not)
And thats why I enjoy SPT, you only need the basic version aka not having to throw 3 AAA games worth of money at BSG and you get to play the Game not only at your own pace but you also can use Mods (which btw some of them BSG just blatanly copied into their own Game, like looting bots for example)
It's because no game itches the milsim scratch that this game does. Amazing gun building, sounds, and that adrenaline you get trying to leave a raid with a ledx. But yeah I hope someone comes a long and copies the hell out of it with a good anti cheat. Or hell, just search profiles of people with 70 hours and 65 Ledx's for sale or a red keycard while weating no headphones and iron sights on their gun
