Agree about Boa system... really excellent. I’ve often found myself watching your shoe reviews thinking ‘they would be nice if I was 25 years younger’. However much to my satisfaction, I’m watching this one thinking ‘ nice if I were 25 years older’. Will get a pair when I’m 70 along with a smoking jacket and a pipe. 🤣🤣
Haha good hear you're on the other side of it for once! I don't think this dark colour option helps with the slipper look....but I can only review what's in front of me :)
100% agree with the review. I went down 1.5 sizes from my normal shoe size. Very comfy, very stable, very waterproof, quite stuffy. My only advice would be, wear slightly higher socks cos the heel tab tends to "bite".
Thanks Robin :) Perhaps I didn't experience the heel tab 'bite' as the shoes were a little big for me. And I'm glad I'm not the only one who found the breathability a little disappointing.
Thank you Kevin for this much awaited review. I personally agree they look like a slipper which i am not keen on. The colour scheme is not to my likining and the lack of airflow would be none desirable as i play with a very comgortable Ecco Boa shoe

Keep on with the reviews really enjoy them. On a side note having purchased a Garmin g30 after one of reviews can i ask if your device freezes on a certain hole on your course?
Yeah we don't get the hottest weather here, but we do usually walk the course. Was you walking in 41 degrees? I've been Vegas a couple of times in August....I wouldn't want to do anything in that heat!!

Great review. Just bought a pair yesterday and played 18, walking. Very comfort and stable. Glad I bought them from store where I could try them on. I wear FJ icons normally in size 9.5. These were huge in 9.5. Im a full size smaller in these; 8.5
After getting these delivered today I'm scared to use them, I play in muddy conditions and they don't look like they clean up well. Can anyone that has these let me know if they clean up well? Cheers
I’ve not used then in very muddy conditions, although I have used them quite a lot, and the dark grey versions that I have in the vide have cleaned up fine with warm soapy water. I can’t speak for the lighter colour I’m afraid. One of my friends has used them thought out this winter in the uk and hasn’t had an issue with them…but again he’s got the same dark colour option as me. Drop me a message on social media and I’ll send you a pick of what mine look like after using them this weekend
I like the woven/knit upper on running shoes. But for some reason, it doesn’t work for golf shoes. It looks like in the video you need to have a bathrobe on to go with your Footjoy slippers. 🤣 Thanks for the videos, in all seriousness.

I have had these shoes for three years now. I love them, however my feet get soaked when I walk through wet grass.
Guess the waterproof coating has a limited life span 👍
So I’m a size 14US. You think since they don’t make half sizes when you get to bigger shoes can I grab a full size down and get them In wide?

Just tried these on today and absolutely loved them. Definitely run way big, I went a full size down and still felt like I had plenty of room.
