This reminds me of me and my family when we travel to the beach each year (probably not this year bc Covid), we wake up at 3am, pack, and leave by 4am. There’s practically no one up then, and it’s like you’re the only ones awake in the world. Then we meet my grandparents at Panera for some breakfast, and by then it’s 6-7am, the sun is warm on your skin and just rising as you’re sitting outside of Panera Bread with a warm cup of coffee and a pastry. I love it.
You made me remember each year getting up for my mum to run a marathon.
We get up way before the sun and walk down a cold and breezy city streets. Its horrible but amazing too and an experience I wouldn't trade for the world, because when you finally get that coffee you appreciate every drop, sharing smiles of everyone who is feeling the same as you

These are great tracks, but I just saw that Isao Takahata has passed away today. I'm sure many of you will know him, co-founder of Studio Ghibli and a great artist.
This makes me think (even more) how life can literally be over from one second to another. I've seen recently many people I cared about (family, friends..) face death face to face, some could beat it, others...
I want to experience every second of life, I'm so mad I needed to see how lives ended to make me realize this. But it's the only way.
For this reason, don't go to sleep if you're angry with someone without solving it, or without telling people you love them, and thanking them for everything. They're just words, like these that I'm writing that may be forgotten forever, but they can make the difference too. Keep that in mind.
Love you all, and thank you for everything, I feel like home here and that's the thing I needed the most these days.

I know this was 2 years ago, so I hope that time has helped heal your grief. I am so proud of you.
I recently moved from my abusive mothers house up north to live with my dad. I tried to OD 3 times in 2 weeks and was on a lot of drugs. I left everybody and everything I loved to escape and start over. I’m now back in my childhood home in the town I was raised in. It was very hard at first, I wouldn’t really talk to my dad or stepmom, I spent most of my time listening to music alone in my room. Grieving everything I had lost, including my mother and my self worth. It’s now been quite awhile since I moved. I’m getting pretty good grades. I still sleep in class a lot though. Most days it’s hard to get out of bed but I do anyway. Things aren’t so black anymore, it’s more of a grey color now. Some days are still really hard and I miss the 5am mornings dancing to french love songs and drinking coffee on an empty street. But I don’t miss the lows and running away and using drugs to escape, it’s been almost 3 years since I’ve regularly self harmed. I’ve filled my room with way too many plants and they make me happy and keep me company. I miss my friends a lot but I still have photos of them on my wall, and guess what? I’m going to see them this weekend! I can’t wait, things are going to get better. Slowly, one step at a time

sometimes I find myself struggling to grasp what it is that I like. I think the things you enjoy should come easy, you shouldn't have to try so hard to put yourself in a position to be loved/enjoy life. after more than 4 years of being in a stagnant relationship, I realized that my partner was not going to mentally liberate herself until she learned to be alone. Ending things with her was bitter-sweet, I miss her calling me every morning, telling me about her problems, but I also remember that those things were the most consuming. I put other's needs before my own, and now I need to focus on myself, love myself and know what is best for me. Love will come again, but we only accept the love we think we deserve. I deserved better, but maybe we don't deserve love at all. Maybe love is just being happy with here, right now. Maybe love is breaking someone's heart so that they can find themselves again. Maybe love is wanting the best for someone. Maybe loving is easy. Maybe you shouldn't have to move mountains to show your love. Maybe love is just getting somebody a morning coffee, a hug, and a pastry.

I had what I would consider a slightly toxic relationship and after I ended it I felt so much happier. Sometimes you can improve or learn things from “past mistakes”. Good message
Relationships aren't easy. Hell, I've been through two failures, one worse than the other. But one thing that I learned is a relationship is a two way street. Not just with communication, but with stress, appreciation, gain, sacrifice. Because there is no perfect relationship, there will always sacrifices made in the hopes of achieving it. But it's impossible. So, all we can do is try our best.
And that means failing. The two relationships I had weren't meaningless, they were revelations. Things about my understanding of what a relationship is revealed to me through those memorable experiences. We all have our definitions of what love is. Patience. Kindness. Humility, and selflessness. etc.
But what others can't define for you are the specifics of a relationship, this is something you define yourself. Sure it may seem warped compared to others. But it's what works best, and that's what matters.
I may have a strange or rigid view on relationships, but that doesn't mean I'm right; for myself or anyone else. I might have misinterpreted those revelations, they may not work in practice. Or perhaps I'm spot on, and others can verify that it works with them too. But in the end, we all strive to achieve the same goal.
Love, in one roundabout way or another.
Definitely something interesting to think about, and a productive way to pass the time until my local café opens up...

I always come here after watching some curb your meme videos, because as funny as the videos are, the comments are just so negative towards each other and it really brings me down. But these comments are so lovely, I come usually two or three times a day just for a nice break :)

I just came home after my workout session in the gym, thats the time when my mind is in the most peaceful place... an iced coffee listening to these lofi beats in my room with no lights except the rgb ones to give that aesthetic feeling.
Before I used to hate being alone and always tried to reach out to people but everything has changed for the better now.Quarantine had made me understand what is life. Once you start enjoying your own company and the silence and peace that comes along with it then you wont ever need someones company to truly enjoy life.

Currently listening to this while preparing my breakfast. It's early in the morning, the skies are still grey and foggy, the air bitingly chilly. A cup of tea is brewing and I'm slicing up bananas for my toast. My dog is peacefully sleeping on the porch after our morning walk and eating his breakfast. The chickens are clucking about in the frontyard, grateful that my dog isn't chasing them. Everything is so peaceful and my heart is so warm. So many times I never thought my days would be like this, but they are now, and I've never been happier and so thankful that I didn't end my life a few years ago. Because life is so, so beautiful.

JEEZ if this doesn’t remind me of being fresh out of high school in my first apartment smoking and watching the leaves fall super early in the morning because I never went to sleep, a time when the only stresses I had were what I was going to do that day no stress. Wow this music get to me.

So I've been doing calligraphy since 2nd grade and one day in my 11th grade year I saw this journal in family dollar, and I said to myself, since i don't talk to anyone or hang with anyone let me buy this book and write everyday just to see where it goes because I love doing calligraphy so much. And honestly i feel like this is the only thing that will keep me up late and wont mind, hold my feelings, be there when no one wont, let me write my wrongs and my sins away and wont let me down.

Getting that perfect accurate mix of coffee or tea is not an easy thing, even the experienced makers have their inaccurate coffee/ tea days. For a tea label I just tried, after maybe 20 trials throughout weeks I finally get the right mix in taste and mood.
Hot mug of tea done brought upstairs into the room, it was sunset and almost dark, it's about time to shut the windows and close the curtains.
It was raining outside, I looked to the sky, the trees and 5 storeys apartment opposite my window and paused a while. It was so beautiful I decided to leave part of the curtains open.
All these and finally browsed for any chill beats to complete them.
A perfect beautiful evening rain with a perfect mug of hot tea and a lofi mix, although title is morning, but the MOOD is all in.
The nature replenishes its beauty when almost everybody locked indoor due to the quarantine, hardly technological and automobiles activities around, the birds chirping louder and merrier in the mornings and the sky is calmer in the evenings.
The earth is restoring, so do are we, to always be better person each days.
Thank God for this perfect evening experience with perfect taste of tea. Heartbreaks were healed and there's no need to be upset.

I love the blue hues, sunrises and the whole idea of early mornings, but i feel so tired then so i sadly rarely enjoy it. This playlist is great for waking up
I mean yeah most of the time everything is shitty and you just wanna give because you can’t handle it anymore. But in the end every day has just 24 hours. And deep down you know you don’t Wanna give up you just want all the pain to be over but that’s not about you being alive or not. And beeing strong all the time is hard it’s exhausting. It’s harder than giving up, but you are strong enough to keep fighting. I’m fighting for years and I often gave up. I tried to killed myself. But everytime I „failed“ and I must „failed“ for a reason. And I may not see the reason right now but I will and I want to see myself happy again. I want to be happy and I want to live so I must go through this. You can decide if you go through this in sadness or with strength and hope. And I know it’s hard to not loose hope because it often turns out in a disappointment. But one day you will wake up with a smile and say wow I did that. I did that just by myself and for myself.
I’m so proud of you for making it so far and I know you can do this! 🤍
Having a shitty day, week, month or year is horrible yes. But the best / worst part? Having a "bad" day, implies that (eventually) there will be a good day. Same goes for a week, month or year. So take those bad days in stride, because the more bitter it is, the sweeter that good day will taste
