When decoys aren't the ones being s*xted this is what happens to a child. The majority of this board got it so wrong , and for it not to require a unanimous vote for the sake of protecting the most vulnerable is terrifying! How could those two women (including the chair who used to work against child abuse) acknowledge the tragedy to the victim with one breath then grant parole to the tragedy-maker with the next? For such a young girl to be robbed of the innocence of her youth and become suicidal and scared for her privacy because of what an adult who has kids himself did to her is fundamentally inexcusable. If he could do this at all as a parent means he's a *monstrous* roach. Frankly, it's scary for him to go somewhere like NY where anonymity in wrongdoing can be even easier there. So sad. So shameful. My prayers go to the precious child he victimized and to her family. They deserve better than this injustice from the "justice" system.

This parole board is so weird. Normally, this main speaker lady, is very hostile, and argumentative with inmates. She normally has a pretentious attitude, and is condescending towards the inmates. Goes off on random tangents, under the guise of giving advice. When in reality, she is just talking to her herself speak. Doing it to look and feel superior. She is also very unprofessional, getting emotional during the hearings.
They all seem to have a hard time comprehending what being said, where they put words in the mouths of the inmates, twisting the words into things they did not say. Its insane. I can go on, but my comment is already very long. One of the more recent meetings uploaded here is a goof example of what i am talking about. With many in the comments wondering how they came to the decision to decline the inmates parole. I am very confused as to why they are so lenient with this guy. Reaching for so much to justify it. Ugh. Idk. I dont think this parole board is a good, and fair combo of people in charge over these hearings.

I’ve seen handfuls of hearings w them, involving pedophiles, rapists, they let ‘em free. i feel maybe if she spoke more of the impact on the child & family rather than keeping their identities secret they may have felt more inclined to not grant it. the first member talking ab the fear the child’s in for her safety but not catching on to him moving to the state she’s in, moving to a new state is what she pointed out even, what dumbasses they are

This shit makes me sick…. He talks about himself the whole damn time tooting his own horn for all his “achievements” and not at all about the victim… a 46 year old going to prison for the first time for this kind of offense just means it’s the first time he got caught… you don’t start this shit that late in life. At least one of the three decision makers has some sense…. The rest of them need to be pulled off the panel…
Alcohol and depression do not make you attracted to minors… they ALL say that…

It’s also somewhat regional. I live in Central Florida. I would I bet you that this monster wouldn’t have been given parole for a LONNNGGG time, if at all, if he was serving his sentence here. He likely would have served out his entire sentence. We don’t play here.

This board is incredibly naive. They need to take their blinders off JC they are so easily manipulated and believe dayum near everything these inmates say. They need to attend Ms. Jackson and Mr. Roche's class on common sense. If they're qualified to be on this board then I got some magic beans to sell them SMH.

Its really heartbreaking to think about a 12 y/o struggling w/su&c*dal ideations and attempting to as well. I think back to that age, and tho i had struggles w/in my home that were hard to deal with, i was still able to smile a real smile & be able to have fun & be a kid.
The idea of having to fear that ur name or ur mothers name may be exposed to the person responsible for terrorizing you or to the public. Ive heard from teens that have struggled w/something similar, and the children that she went to school w/-h.school i believe, the kids wound up revictimizing by making fun of them, and bullying them. This case is just horrible.
This guy is a wolf in sheeps clothing for sure❤ He talks such a good game, to the point i was thinking about how amazing how he has utilized his time!! Then i realized why we are here watching!!
One thing that made me soo angry that i either wanted to scream & throw my ohone, or cry was the fact that the board were just sooo friendly and amazed by him and just eating up what he had to say, by the way the board sounded when he read his statement u would have thought that the women had HEARTS in their eyes. Then after the victims mother read her and her daughters statements they were like, "meh...thank u"... treated the victims w/o feeling or respect.
The ONLY THING that i was somewhat-impressed by was that they didnt cut off the victim statemwnts, like most of the Parole Board members do in Louisiana 🤬🤬
NO ONE WHO SHAKES THEIR HEAD DURING VICTIM IMPACT ISNT REMORSEFUL...GRRRRRR!!!
THEY DON'T CARE AT ALLLL THAT A 12 Y/O GIRL TRIED ENDING?! THEY ALL-BESIDES THE PERSON THAT DENIED HIM-ARE GOING TO BURN IN HELLLLLLLL!!!

I think it's really important that we start to find ways to treat testifying in these cases as empowering, rather than re-victimizing. For _adults,_ I consider it a moral imperative to report and testify if necessary. Obviously, it's not appropriate to place the same moral standard on children, but the reason it's imperative for adults -- protection of future victims -- doesn't go away. So we need to focus on re-framing the act of testifying truthfully against an abuser so that it can be a part of the healing process for children, as well as serving the purpose of helping protect future victims.

I’ve been a full blown addict and I’ve NEVER had inappropriate thoughts/actions with anyone especially minors! If a person does that, it’s something that’s in their mind, whether they’re sober or intoxicated, or on a substance, and it just amplifies it with those. He will continue to be a predator and it’s SICKENING how he got a year! Our government doesn’t care about the children! It’s been clear as day for a looooong time!
