Hilarious that the accountant is actually doing him a favour.. the lawyer is trying to ascertain his possible wealth and the accountant is successfully understating him
The accountant was one of the best things about the series. Loved it when the lawyer handed papers to Warrick and the accountant snatched them away and Warrick was forced to wrestle for them on the floor all the while the accountant was laughing like a mad man!
Jinjur Jiant if we’re talking about warwicks then he doesn’t but the other uptight one does, he was in the office and other things but he had his own show with Richard ayoade
I couldn't stand that accountant when I first saw him, then something just clicked. He reminds me of me - totally incompetent at everything, talks bollocks, and laughs during inappropriate moments.
I love how self aware it gets close to the end. Man, I loved "Willow". My grandpa said I used to wear the vhs out when I was a kid. Being older now, yeah, you can see the story is obviously made of cardboard, but I still enjoy it.
This is why we need either repeats or YT. You cannot possibly take in on one viewing the brilliant comic acting of both Warwick and the bloke next to him during the initial supposed negotiations.
It actually wasn’t a great success. It was expected to be a huge blockbuster, but failed to make its money back in the US. It made most of its money in other markets and on VHS though and eventually made a profit.
80% of a movie's revenue comes from initial viewings or sales so how it does in the first year depends on whether or not it makes a profit. Willow failed at the box office (almost tanking Val Kilmer's career before it had started) but became a cult classic years later.
Willow exploded in the rental market about 2 years after it was in theatres, and was a staple on HBO 'Cinehits' playlist for the latter part of the 1990s.
Anyone who lived through the 80's knows Willow pretty well. It was an apex-genre film that was an instant classic. That's like saying, "What is the Never Ending Story?"...or "What is Labrynth?" Here in America, Willow is an eighties-cinema-staple.
Yeah but not everyone who lived in the 80s saw or heard of every film . For example my friend of the same age 38 has never seen or heard of the film Jaws . It happens
@Peter T he's just not really into pop culture. He'd argue its hard to believe everyone hasn't heard of a particular classical composer he knows . Some people haven't heard of the Jewish Holocaust, sod a silly movie from the 80s
This accountant reminds me of one of my buddies. He´s completely useless, knows it and has the galls to laugh about it in your face. Oh, the times I could´ve jumped in his face.
Unbelievable to me that I'm told that is the same guy....Ignore my stupidity as I was looking at the useless Accountant and thinking that is what people meant not the lawyer..lol
When I was a kid my mum got a free copy of willow in the newspaper 🤣🤣 weird film as I recall. Was most likely the Sun paper or some equivalent garbage.
"Willow" is a great movie , I thoroughly enjoyed it as a kid & still do , it has aged pretty well, not like all the CGI dross that's wheeled out year on year nowadays, I do love a lazer fight & a few explosions though :-) & but hey, if its good enough for "Blakes 7" then its good enough for me!
It took me a while to get it but the solicitor was the IT repair guy in the office. The one who went go-carting and was told: - "Hey, no professionals mate" As he wizzed around the track he hit some ramp that had been left in the middle of the track. He could see some of the people in the crowd saying 'that guy is definitely dead.' He did a couple of cork-screws in the air, landed on two wheels, pulled over and said 'what you worrying about?"
_Willow_ made about 137 million on a 35 million dollar budget, so it was a moderate success. It is a cult favorite though. I believe Disney is working on a sequel of sorts for their Disney+ streaming channel.
I just realized after already having watched the whole season a while ago that her lawyer/lover is Garret's IT friend from The Office. The one he was talking about Bruce Lee with.
Every episode is great imo but the Val Kilmer one kills me the most becuase hes basically just mooching off Warrick the whole time and his asistant named every batman actor including the "cartoooonversion", but Val 😂
“ put your dreams on hold for now”
So good 😂
That's what my wife said to me at our wedding.
Hilarious that the accountant is actually doing him a favour.. the lawyer is trying to ascertain his possible wealth and the accountant is successfully understating him
Yeah I caught on to that too it was perfectly done.
I wonder if they intended that as a bit or it just organically come due to the comedy of it
Thanks for telling us that.😂
The accountant was one of the best things about the series. Loved it when the lawyer handed papers to Warrick and the accountant snatched them away and Warrick was forced to wrestle for them on the floor all the while the accountant was laughing like a mad man!
Dr. Rick Dagless

I have always loved Warwick Davis, but this show was so underrated, and gave an arc to him that does not exist on any plane of entertainment existence
I love how self aware it gets close to the end.
Man, I loved "Willow". My grandpa said I used to wear the vhs out when I was a kid. Being older now, yeah, you can see the story is obviously made of cardboard, but I still enjoy it.
You're probably dead by now but tapes to get worn out from overuse so that story could be made of fine gold
The River Police ramble is superb.
This is why we need either repeats or YT. You cannot possibly take in on one viewing the brilliant comic acting of both Warwick and the bloke next to him during the initial supposed negotiations.
How was Willow not a success?? That was a HUGE movie!! In America anyways. Just figured it was everywhere. Great movie.

I remember willow as a kid. gonna have to download it again, brilliant film, not seen it in years.
Every scene is the funniest in this show. Brilliant throughout it's entire run, which ironically was too short.
I went to Bolton university and agree with this statement
So it was a shithole that used to be a launderette?
Can’t believe I barely found out about this show! What a great show and hilarious comedy 😂😂
Who the fuck hasn’t heard of Willow? Someone I would not want in my house that’s who.
